Bavaro beach punta cana — Hotel in Higüey

One of the worst experiences of my life!! I had no other choice but to stay here, after renting it through Priceline Express Deals, which is non cancelable. The hotel was rated as 4 star at a price of $231.00 per night, so I was expecting at least a clean place. However, that was not the case. The lobby smelled like urine. There was also a general foul smell around the whole property that seemed like black waters. When I entered the room it was in shambles, the bed had only a sheet for cover, had sand over it and seemed like it was not replaced from the previous guest. The fridge was not working. The bathroom's trashcan was full with sanitary paper from the previous guest also. The TV wasn't working either. The buffet food and also that from the a la carte restaurant was terrible. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel to anyone who has ever stayed at a decent hotel. At some point I took an Uber to go eat elsewhere and the driver shared that he would stay there either because of my same complaints. I forgot to mention that the safe didn't work either and the hotel recommends using it as they claim not to be liable for...

Bavero Beach in Punta Cana is an absolute paradise! From the moment we arrived, the scenery was stunning. The beach is clean, peaceful, and offers a perfect mix of relaxation and natural beauty. The water is crystal clear, and the sand feels like silk beneath your feet. It's the ideal spot for long walks, sunbathing, and enjoying the incredible views.

What truly made the experience unforgettable was the sunrise. Waking up early to witness the vibrant hues of the sky as the sun rose over the horizon was something out of a dream. Additionally, the beach itself is perfect for anyone looking to unwind. There’s a calm vibe here, away from the crowds, which allows you to truly enjoy the tranquility. I even took a couple of videos to capture the peaceful sound of the waves lapping against the shore.

Malgré le développement de Airbnb à Punta Cana, ne louez pas un Airbnb. L'accès aux plages est très compliqué quand vous n'êtes pas en hôtel All-inclusive. Les accès sont bloqués par des barrières et des gardes sécurités des hôtels où propriétés privées, et pour accéder aux plages c'est très difficile et les quelques parkings sont souvent payant et cher. Dommage ! 😢 Sinon, l'appartement par Airbnb situé à "Paradise village Résidence" était sympa, avec une petite piscine, 3 chambres lits doubles avec clim, 2 salles de douche, grand salon séjour avec clim, cuisine, petit bémol pas en bord de mer malheureusement à environ 15 minutes en voiture de la 1ère plage un peu près accessible. On a passé quand même un bon séjour mais un peu stressant entre l'accès aux plages compliqué voir parfois impossible et donc perte de temps sur la route à chercher un accès, et les Dominicains qui vous voient venir de loin "les touristes" pour vous vendre tout et rien à longueur de journée et n'importe où. Et je ne parle pas de leur conduite en voiture, si vous pouvez éviter de louer un véhicule ne le faite pas, la circulation est très dangereuse, pour l'avoir vécu. Sinon les Dominicains sont assez agréables, si vous êtes perdu, ou cherchez quelque chose, un endroit, un renseignement, ils nous ont toujours indiqué, ils parlent bien évidemment Espagnol mais beaucoup vous renseigne en Anglais et quelques un même en Français mais c'est rare. Et pour finir dommage qu'un pays si beau avec des plages paradisiaques, soit si mal entretenu et sale aux abords des hôtels et à l'intérieur des terres, des déchets partout qui casse le charme et la beauté...
