TOC Beach Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Higüey

The view is stunning and the guys working here are great. But they need a new waitress - she has made a mistake on the order 2 out of 3 times I've been here and other tables have been complaining about the same issue

Food is great but incredibly slow. On all 3 occasions it took almost 1 hour to get a simple bite to eat and a fruit shake (and they only have a few tables)

I keep coming back because it's an awesome beach view but they need to improve the service dramatically

Also after the worst service of all they automatically added a sizeable tip to my bill. For this I won't every be coming back. I had tipped before but being forced to after terrible service never...

This is a summation of two visits. First visit, just for a drink on the beach, was average and would have been a weak 3* - drinks were tasty and you could taste the rum, but service was extremely slow. Second visit was a 1*, as service was even slower (didn’t think it would be possible) and the drinks so weak we’re not even sure there was alcohol in them - though they definitely charged us like there was - after waiting 50 minutes for the bill…..it’s unfortunate as the location is perfect and the food we had was good, but for three of us to spend 2 hours there just for one drink each and an order of spring rolls, all for $40 US just...

Toc was a great experience, I went in an uber and just got to the first beach I saw and from there used the google maps to located exactly, because is in a hotel complex, but you can enter the restaurant from the beach. ( That was in my case ) but was beautifull, they have great cocktails and amaaaazing food there, I had the bachata nachos and a taco with srimps, wow what amazing! The only thing there was that they could last some time with the cocktail but the food came really fast.
