Las terrazas.. — Hotel in Higüey

I would like to start saying that the Serenade Punta Cana Resort is great. My husband and me we stayed in this resort for 7 days and was great starting with receptionist Jose Sanchez excellent, professional service and great communication as well the bar bartender Alex Ramirez and Jose from the beach bar area near to the beach excellent the drinks, buffet and the restaurant a la carte was great, except for this lady her name Stephanie treat us so unprofessional just a question that we asked Daniel and the lady that is his boss Stephanie an German lady treat my husband so bad and the only question ask was is a arquitect that we was expecting to talk to him can come for a few minutes to give us a house floor plan, this lady answer my husband with this bad attitude and the way she was looking at my husband was racist I didn't like it at all, when I went to receptionist to request to talk to Mr. Victor the general manager Luis a receptionist answer me so bad as well maybe he was right he told me he can't call Mr. Victor for every time that a guest complaint, was the way that he said it and he send me back to concierge table with the same lady that was ready to give the complaint. At the end I never have the chance to talk to nobody because everyone there is afraid to this lady Stephanie . I will definitely go back to this beautiful resort because all except Luis and Stephanie everyone was excellent really fabulous staff in every place in the entire...

My family and I were referred here through RCI travel-it was communicated to me by RCA as a 4 star "RESORT AND SPA" (based upon Tripadvisor I have since learned)--2 cockroaches and a crab greeted us upon entry into the musky less-than-clean room (ok we are by the beach-maybe other's standard of "clean" is different than my own)--but after having the neighboring unit's abutting door swung open in the middle of the night with COMPLETE strangers occupying it (which we could not close/lock nor get assistance to have it locked with the required key until AFTER 10 am the following day as the office was not opened until that time)...and the 1 roll of tp we had for the 3 of use ran out (again no remedy until after 10am the following morning...Starbucks napkins to the rescue!!)...the lack of coffee for the coffee pot, the broken chair...coupled with the fact that we have to (NOW) fight for a refund for a cancelled reservation the following week---I felt it necessary to more properly advise those considering staying here---this is not a 4...

The hotel is beautiful and the location is great. It has everything you need for a nice stay. Staff was quick to assist me with all of my needs. The pools are great and the view is even better. The security does a really good job and lobby staff can assist you with transportation. There is a convenient store next door for most of your needs and a pharmacy very close. Living room and Wakamole is 5 min walk straight away from the entrance if you want to walk to a fun bar. There many places to eat within walking distance and supermarket are about 7min away. I look forward to staying at this property...
