This hotel needs a lot of work! The room smelled like rotten, the beds were so uncomfortable. Breakfast is not included and what's worse they tried charging me for some food I didn't even ordered. WIFI sucks!! had to go outside to use the Internet. During check out they couldn't find the remote control and I told them it must be under the bed since 2 little kids stayed with me in the room and they called us thieves. I wasn't going to waste my time to look for them since I had to leave so I told them I would pay for the remote which they charged me 10 bucks and I said to them that I wasn't going to steal some cheap remote control of a 1989 TV! Get serious!! And to show some respect!! The hotel is close to other places such as Plaza Foch, pharmacies etc but there are other plenty hotels around there that could be way better than this one. I paid 58 dollars a night for 4 beds but I rather have paid more if I was going to get breakfast included and comfortable beds but most important of all RESPECT AND GOOD SERVICE! Please don't even try to go there. People are rude and you actually have to ask someone to help you...

The restaurant and the cafeteria that they mentioned when I booked are not working properly they don’t have options for eating. There are better hotels around there that could be better than “Ambassador” I payed 37 dollar each night.|The last thing that I have to say is that every morning at 6am there was a uncomfortable noise because of people around the hotel. |I don’t...
Read moreI have stayed at the Hotel Ambassador many, many times not because it is really comfortable or appealing to the eye, but because it is very inexpensive and in North Quito. There are certainly many better places to stay, but for one or two nights I choose to stay there because of the price plus they provide free cable TV, Wi-Fi. Furthermore, there are many places to eat close by. However, now that the airport is far outside of the city, I choose to stay out there in order to make my connection to Cuenca or Guayaquil. This hotel is not for business people or for those who have money to spend, but for backpackers and travelers who are on a tight budget, it's a...
