Some restaurants you remember eating at years later.....you never forgot. Such is the case of Sher E Punjab. I was blessed to be able to experience the delightful food and service back in January 2019 while on a clowning and caring humanitarian trip in Quito with wonderful clowns from around the world. So when I was back on a clowning trip last month (February of 2023) I thought about the wonderful food from the past. One night, my good friend Michael and I, along with our dear, kind, wonderful new friend Pati and Pablo decided to break from our group and go out to dinner because we simply couldn't miss an opportunity to dine again at Sher E Punjab. The second we stepped in I fondly remembered the time from 2019. The inside of the restaurant is decorated very lovely and inviting and the service was equally delightful. The food was every bit as exquisite and delicious as it was in 2019. My mouth is watering just thinking about the experience and I truly hope to be back in 2024. YUM YUM...

Once I had devoured this, I moved onto the next dish!
Second - chicken dopiaza. A brilliant accompaniment to my main dish. Excellent taste and texture when paired with the naan.
All round, a...
Read moreOne of the worst restaurant experiences in my whole life. If you have a good taste of food and especially Indian food don’t go to this place!!! The Papadom cost 5$ for just 2 thin pieces and they are very hard and not delicious at all. The staff who works there don’t know anything about Indian food. Furthermore, the vegetable soup was made with vegetables from pots and the mushrooms were very disgust… The only thing that was somewhat okay was the Mango lushY.
Then in the end they made us pay 6$ extra in taxes and told us we will get the money back when leaving the country. I have been traveling though Ecuador for some time and never had such a bad experience than in this place! Go and eat...
