Coloma — Hotel in Parroquia Puerto Ayora

this is a great hotel if you want to explore the area for a few days. its central to the town, fairly quiet with lovely staff. great communication through email. we had room 12 which is quite private. breakfast starts at 6.30 which you can hear being set up if you are a light sleeper. but its a place where you want to get up and out to explore. breakfast is a simple plate but with fruit and yogurt. great coffee. unfortunately we picked up some kind of flu bug on the flights over which messed us up for a few days. we ended up going to the hospital, Betsy the manager took us in a taxi, on her day off. can you really get any better service than that? I would recommend this place. the only criticism is that there were no mosquito screens on the windows that other hotels had. this meant the rooms were hot, and i can't sleep using air conditioning. Fortunately we needed the heat to sweat...

Hotel Coloma is a must when staying in the Galápagos Islands!! When I arrived to Coloma I was instantly welcomed and felt as I was one of their family. This wonderful Airbnb is perfectly located in the center of town, with all the amenities you could possibly want. The property itself is huge and absolutely beautiful. Betzy & the team went above and beyond to make sure I had a wonderful birthday and even assisted me in getting a belonging that was misplaced.. absolute amazing service. The breakfast was very good and the room was large with room to spare. I highly recommend anyone who is visiting Santa Cruz to come to Coloma! This really is one of my favorite Airbnb experiences and my only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer! Thank you so much for this...

The pool is divine on a hot humid day. The staff is great. If you’re lower maintenance but want a pool and a room with AC, this is a perfect spot. Don’t expect 5 star accommodations - the towels are a bit worn but everything was super clean, the breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the service was emblematic of warm and flexible hospitality. Book directly for the best deal - we did so via Whatsapp with ease. We had them store our bags for a morning after checkout in a secured space that we could easily access for our boat departure later on.
