PATTY'S HOUSE GALAPAGOS — Hotel in Parroquia Puerto Ayora

Our flight was delayed so we made it to the island a day later than planned. They didn't charge us for the missed night which was really nice. The owners are lovely, helpful and always there in case you have questions. You can get basic bikes for free which is nice since the apartments are 1,5 km from the restaurant area.||We had apartment 0 since they had no others and unfortunately it was really moist and smelled heavily of mould. We've had moist rooms before since we're travelling on a budget and normally that's something you can arrange with for a few nights, but this was unbearable. We couldn't switch rooms since everything else was occupied. ||We didn't see the other rooms so judging from the reviews here they don't have that problem. So if you're gonna stay there...

Very bad hostel in Santa Cruz Island, so far away from town , they are very rude people, horrible experience !||The rooms are very dirty, no hot water , very noisy and smells humid. ||We had apartment booked for 3 nights they had no others and unfortunately it was really moist and smelled heavily of mould. We stayed for a week with Casa Patty, Its a nice family run apartment in Santa Cruz. We received clear instructions to reach the apartment from the airport and good information about things to do. The apartment had hot water and the wifi wasnt too bad considering your on the galapagos. It is probably 15-20 mins to the port which we were happy to walk, but you can also get a nearby taxi for $1.50 if needed. Also you can also use the bikes for free and hire snorkel equipment which are both good. Kitchen was well equipped too for basic meals and good cleaning...
