I had the pleasure of staying at Moon Valley Apartments in Luxor, and I must say it was an extraordinary experience. From the moment we arrived, the owner, Komy, went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Not only did he provide comfortable accommodations, but he also served as our dedicated guide, taking us to all the must-see attractions in Luxor.

Komy's personalized itinerary allowed us to explore incredible sites like the Tombs Valley, Valley of the Kings, Luxor Temple, Karnak, Hatshepsut Temple, Colossi of Memnon, Habu Temple, and Deir el-Medina. His knowledge and passion for the history of Luxor enriched our journey, making it even more enjoyable.

At the apartments, Ali, one of the staff members, made our mornings even better with delicious breakfasts and ensured that we had everything we needed throughout our stay. To top it off, they organized a delightful barbecue for us, creating a sense of community among the guests.

The apartments themselves are a true oasis in the desert. The refreshing pool was a welcome respite after a day of exploring the scorching Egyptian sun. The bedrooms were spacious, comfortable, and beautifully appointed, providing a peaceful retreat to rest and rejuvenate.

Moon valley apartments are a beautifully large spotlessly clean series of apartments set in a wonderfully quiet area of town , surrounded by banana plants and the odd cow and donkey! ! It comprises , one and two bedroomed accommodation , with a lounge with flat screen tv , a balcony and kitchen , a bathroom with shower and bath plus a fantastic terrace at the top of the building overlooking the Nile one way and the valley of the kings and queens in the other . Our host and the manager Kumi annd Salama and were wonderful always on hand to help with. Things we needed ( sugar and a barbee on the first night !) there’s a few pots and pans ,plates and cups , cutlery and glasses and more should you ask for them. We hired bikes from the town and saw everything we wanted on our own steam. Thirty minutes and we were at the valley of the kings and 20 minutes hatshepsuts temple… then valley of the queens ten mins fromTnere. ! Waking up early to ballon’s floating about with the mountain backdrop was unbelievable and returning to the apartment for a much needed swim and relax was heaven . Moon valley is only a twenty five minute walk fromThe town of Luxor on the West Bank… a local taxi gets you down to the harbour for £100ep and takes 5/8 minutes and a trip across to the east bank costs just £50 ep on the local ferry. ( 10 minutes ) It’s such a perfect place to enjoy the beauty and antiquities of Luxor whilst having your own very private haven...

We had a great time and experience here. This side of the river is way more chilled out then the other side, were people are constantly bothering you for some money of even try to scam you. On this side people really try to help you in a caring way.

This place is amazing, we had the complete top floor for ourself, and the swimming pool has a very nice temperature for swimming. The bed looks a bit old, but actually sleeps perfectly well. The bathroom is huge and we had good showers there. The views are amazing in every side! The location is a bit off road but there is always a service from the hotel of getting you something if needed. Also there is Indrive coming there, so you'll have a taxi very quick.

Last but not least we had an amazing time because of the owner. He showed us around and he's always available for any questions. He became a good friend of us and has a...
