Luxor Palace apartments — Hotel in Al Baairat Village

I can't rate this place highly enough. When my wife told me that we had booked for 5 nights here and then how little we were being charged I assumed the worst. I could not have been more wrong. We arrived at 1 am. The hotel arrange transport from the airport. The rooms are spacious with a functional kitchen and a washing machine. The bedrooms have excellent a.c. and the beds were comfortable. The breakfasts in the morning are an added bonus. Delivered to your private balcony every morning there was a wide selection and you are asked if you want more, we rarely ate more than a third of what was brought to us. They also offer evening meals. |Everyday the room is cleaned. The place is spotless.|There is a small pool which like everywhere else is wonderfully maintained and clean.|If you need anything they will try their very best to accommodate you. On our check put day we were allowed a late checkout of several hours at no extra charge.|Given how little they charged, I can honestly say this is the best value for money hotel I have ever stayed in.|Highly...

Home away from home Luxor Palace is a very good value for money. It offers full apartment. I stayed in the 2nd floor apt and used the ground floor apt upon my arrival. Both were in excellent condition. The manager Hussain and his co-workers are very helpful and professional. He arranged for a boat trip for our arrival and departure and gave us a ride to reach the boat on the day of departure. We had an early arrival so Hussain arranged for us to stay in another room to unwind till our apt is ready.

Breakfast is great and served in the front balcony where you can hear birds and see the Nile on the horizon and even on clear day you can view part of the great Luxor Temple front wall. View from the back balcony is great with Luxor west side farm and mountain views. Wish I could stay longer to relax and unwind. Had two quick days seeing all of the treasures Luxor offers.

Bathroom needs a curtain so as not to spill water on the floor. Birds wake up so early :-) Location in west side is not very easy to access but the boat trip is...

I discovered Memnon Apartments by accident back in 2008 when a booking with another agent fell through, and I've kept going back. The apartments are really well appointed and spotlessly clean. An added bonus is the spacious roof terrace which gives splendid views over the Nile to Luxor in one direction and to the Theban Hills in the other. To be up teher at dawn or under moonlight is a truly unforgettable experience (see photos).The position is very convenient for visiting all the sites of the west bank and catching the ferry over to Luxor, There are a number of good cafes and restaurants within walking distance at both Ramlah and Gezira. The owners are lovelypeople and really easy to contact to make additional arrangements such as hiring bikes which we did on this occasion. The swimming pool is great for a refreshing dip after a day visiting temples. I could go on but, to be honest, part of me doesn't even want to write a review because I'd rather keep these apartments as my own...
