Italia Hotel Cairo — Hotel in Cairo

This is a small hotel located on the 6th floor of an old building in downtown Cairo. There are two rather dated elevators, which can be a bit temperamental at times. The room itself was clean but somewhat cramped, with a very compact en-suite bathroom.

The location is excellent — close to restaurants, shops, banks, the metro station, and the Egyptian Museum — and offers an authentic taste of Cairo’s lively street life. The staff were helpful and friendly.

No bad words for this hotel. Rooms were really nice and really clean, the AC worked really well and was very convenient and the mattresses was the most comfortable. The breakfast was proper Egyptian and traditional with strong flavours. The location was really nice next to multiple shops and a bank to change currency too. The service was so good and staff was very friendly....

The location is great , the staff was very attentive and helpful. The manager was excellent and made things very smooth. They even made me a lovely lime drink upon arrival, which was great.
