I had booked El Amin guest house thru booking.com and the rate I got was pretty good. I was very apprehensive about how to get across the Nile to the hotel but based on prior communication with the owner and some reviews I thought i should be good.||I communicated with the owner Amin regarding the tours and the pricing an believe me that the rates I got for everything were darn good. I had booked the Airport pickup, Abu Simbel, Temple of Philae and drop off to Luxor (with stops at Edfu and Kom Ombo) and was pleasantly surprised with the guides and the vehicles.||Amin took care of everything for us. The ferry run from the coast to the island and cost is fixed and cheap. The breakfast was standard and ok but one of the days we asked Amin for dinner for 4 of us and we got a scrumptious dinner with huge fishes. The place itself is right on the Nile and nothing can beat that. There is a small convenience store on site and open till late.||One tip I would give is to keep a lot of cash in hand since Aswan is mostly cash based and also pay in cash for the Hotel.||The views and the fun we had was something we will never forget ever in our life....

Mohamed Montasser is a FRAUD that resold aur travel to sone poor driver that didn’t have the permit to travel with tourist. It ended on a police control and official fine (5000egp) and polce escort (the other choices where getting back to aswan and loose money and time and things scheduled for following day, or leaving us on random train station with unknown schedule for next train and no tickets)||None of them (Mr Amin, Mohamed ’fraud’ Montasser nor the driver) was in any way helpful nor thought about refund for messed and really stressful situation.||So BEWARE not only Mohamed ’fraud’ Montasser but also mr Amin who legitimates this kind...
