I definitely don't recommend this place at all for anyone! Hotels first impression: surrounding of the building is dirty, then you go in the reception and it looks like it's an abandoned Hotel. We got there at night and the hotel location didn't feel safe. I asked to see the room first and it was the worst room ever. It had filthy bed sheets and overall the room was extremely dirty, the bathroom was small and the toilet wasn't working. I couldn't do much but to stay one night there since we had just landed and it was 4 a.m. we were tired and had no more energy to leave and look for a hotel. I had to pay extra to cancel all nights because there was no way I was going to stay there a second night. Also if you are driving there is no parking lot available you have to pay the security of the hotel to watch your car while it's parked near the hotel. make sure to read the final print before booking because some of the rates only apply to Egyptian citizens so if you are not an Egyptian the entire booking will cost you more. I definitely think this is a one-star Hotel. The only advantage of this hotel is the location, near the pyramids which means you will have an excellent View. That wasn't enough for me so I decided to leave. If you decide to book I hope you have a better experience than...
Read moreThis hotel was arranged for my husband and I during an excursion through 'Cairo Excursions' ... Don't bother with this excursion Company they are not worth the money & that's another story! We'll, after what you call a day of rushed sight seeing we were dropped off at this hotel for our overnight stay. As you walk into the reception it was untidy and the overall upkeep of the lobby was disappointing. We had to walk through a thick haze of cigarette smoke. The staff were unfriendly and at no point they had any eye contact. After a 25 minute wait we were escorted to our bedroom which was on the top floor. The landing and stairs were crooked, ripped carpet and dirty walls. Our bedroom, has two separate beds, bed linen was stained and to make matter worse the bathroom was completely unhygienic. Stains on the sink, toilet and hair in bath. There was a strange smell and it looked and felt that the room hadn't been cleaned after their previous guests. Only positive was the view of the Pyramids in the distance. We demand to be moved to another hotel, which took some doing! How this hotel is rated three & half* is beyond my understanding. I have never written such a long review before but I feel misconception and misleading advertising should be...
Read moreThe hotel is about 2km from the pyramids and has a beautiful view of them, specially on the roof, that has a restaurant. But, the food there is horrible, and so is in the restaurant in the lobby, where we had breakfast. There is a small selection of breads and rice, beans and meat, a typical egyptian breakfast, but very strange to us. The hotel staff was very rude, they would always talk to us in arabic and didn’t know anything of english. They would always pull the bags directly from our hands, but would only carry the man’s bags, everyone else had to take your own, and would ask for a big tip afterwards. When we got to our rooms, we had a triple room, but only had two towels. When we asked for more, we got paper toilet. We asked again and got shampoo. The store at the lobby sells overpriced souvenirs, but at least they’ll send out a postcard for you. The bed and pillows were very unconfortable, and the blankets were old and smelly. The shower had no pressure and was very cold. The bedroom was very noisy and it was hard to...
