This hotel is definitely one of the best with an amazing view of the pyramid. This is the same as the New Pyramid Front Hotel, I am still confused why they have two different names for the same building but oh well!! Overall the experience was very positive. The hotel itself it is situated in a very poorly constructed area, there is not much for tourist around there. A lot of buildings are still under construction. The hotel is inside a very dodgy alley (who is actually guarded by people of the hotel), then the reception is on the 4th floor. Maybe because 1st floor is still not done. Inside it’s very modern and well presented. When we first got there we got greeted by very friendly and smiley staff. They were all really happy to see us. Be prepared to be giving out tips to staff that helps you as they expect it. We did not give it too all but only the ones that really helped us! We noticed in Egypt this is a very common thing. We first got given a very small windowless room and when we noticed that the sheets were stained, we reported it to reception and they straight away apologized profusely and offered us not only to change the sheet but they upgraded us to a much much bigger room!!! We were so pleased!! The room was clean, with window, beds were soft and comfortable. We had a really nice stay. During the night though you could hear people really talking loud in the corridors which I think it’s something that needs to be addressed as most people want to get rest during the night. Also you could hear people going up and down from the restaurant to the rooms as as I understand the pool is actually open all day and night. Our room was very close to the stairs to the restaurant and we could hear people and staff making noise, which is really frustrating as we kept waking up. But other that that everything was exceptional. Shout out to Mohamed who helped us from beginning to end, from booking a car to the airports to tours. If you are thinking of getting tours definitely get the through the hotel, they offer amazing tours and they’re also private! TripAdvisor advertised same tour for so much more money! Our tour guide was Mohamed and he was super knowledgeable about ancient Egypt and it’s history he also took us in great little ships to get amazing spices and perfumes! The restaurant upstairs has amazing views of the pyramids, the food is quite decent but… the pizzas have way too much cheese! Pool area is small and sometimes hard to...
Read moreWe moved to this hotel after spending four terrible days in another one, hoping for a change — but unfortunately, nothing improved. To start on a positive note: the girls at the reception were truly lovely and kind, which we appreciated. However, that’s about where the good experience ended. The room and the overall structure were disappointing. The fourth floor was incredibly noisy — guests were shouting, screaming, and making noise at all hours of the day and night. We barely got any sleep. As for cleanliness, it was non-existent. After a full-day excursion, we returned to our room around 5 PM and were asked by a staff member, Mahmoud, if we wanted cleaning service. Honestly, after being out all day, I would expect the room to have already been cleaned in the morning — not to be asked late in the afternoon. What made us extremely uncomfortable was when this same staff member insisted we fill out a form, and then even took photos with us inside our room — without our invitation. He entered the room on his own and acted like it was normal. Later that night, at 5:30 in the morning, two men — we assume they were staff — repeatedly knocked on our door. Only after we replied, annoyed and half-asleep, asking "what's the problem?" did they finally leave. We still have no idea why they woke us up at that hour. We tried calling the reception right away, especially since we were quite scared, but of course, no one answered. To make things worse, the staff themselves were loud in the middle of the night. From around 2 AM, we could hear them shouting, talking loudly, and moving carts or who knows what else through the halls. Overall, the experience was a huge disappointment. The environment felt unprofessional, the staff (aside from the reception girls) were intrusive and impolite, and we never felt comfortable or relaxed...
Read moreThis hotel looks fancy from the outside, but inside there are many flaws and issues. At night we got bitten by bugs in the bed, and the sheets we slept on were dirty and full of stains. It was difficult to get housekeeping despite several requests, and we often ran out of toilet paper and had to go to the reception to ask for more, as housekeeping never came. During our 9-night stay, our room was cleaned only once – and even then, they only changed the sheets and towels (they didn’t even bring toilet paper). The worst part was when the hotel charged us for "damaged sheets" because of a makeup stain from face powder – something that would easily come off in the wash. I argued with the front desk about this, but we were about to miss our flight. Absolutely ridiculous behavior from the hotel, especially considering we had to sleep in stained sheets from previous guests during our entire stay. So be prepared for extra charges. The tours offered through the hotel were also overpriced, so I recommend booking any excursions elsewhere. (Even here they tried to charge us extra.) The air conditioning and water didn’t work either. Our room was hotter than it was outside. The water supply was inconsistent and would cut off randomly, sometimes in the middle of washing hands or taking a shower. After a hot day or swimming, it was often impossible to take a shower, which became a repeated issue. The hotel pool was nice, especially the views. However, there were lots of bugs and debris floating in the pool. The guy working at the pool was friendly, and so was our driver. Most of the other staff, though, were cold and indifferent. I also can’t say anything positive about...
