This restaurant has unbelievable views but lacks service and cleanliness. You can say it's where guides take tourists. We haD the. CHoice between grilled chicken & kaftan or grilled/fried fish with prongs and calamari. The lunch included fresh bread with humus assorted pickled veggies and bottled water. Beverages were charged separate. I chose to eat fried fish with rice and asked for lemon. Overall, food was not that bad when you're hungry. French fries came out cold, and coffee took too long to serve. Going on cack to cleanliness stairs facade and floor were dull looked like it never was mopped or polished. We had to ask to please change our plate since we found spots and dirty on them.The toilett area was flooded and also looked murky.

Amazing view of the pyramids although they could trim down the vegetation and distribute the seating better. Got there by a tour guide with fixed meal, first four dishes were to share between four, hardly deserving of the name tapa with exception of the egg plant. Main course was fresh fish(very one thought it was good) and chicken with lamb, white rice and vegetables. Decently made, flavour overwhelmed with spices but dry and overcooked for my taste(they don’t offer an option). For dessert 1 banana The drinks were overpriced as almost everywhere, the menus and cashier had no pricing whatsoever. No wifi and staff asking for tips in the restrooms. Would not return to eat but maybe to have a drink watching the breathtaking view.

I had the pleasure to visiting this lovely restaurant during my short stay in Cairo and can I say it the staff was so welcoming. They had me pick out my own fish and how I wanted it prepared; I asked that they prepare how they’d perform from them selves and this was the results. It was so delicious while we wanted they brought out some Aish Baladi along with different things to eat it with (I can’t remember the name) I can’t remember how my I paid but it was far less then I would have paid at home and much fresher.

The beat thing about this place is the stunning view, as the restaurant offers a direct and breathtaking sight of the pyramids, adding a magical touch to the atmosphere, especially during sunset. One of the highlights of the visit was the chef’s kindness and hospitality. Despite the food not being exceptional, he made an effort to accommodate our requests and ensure we were satisfied.

As for the food, it was average—not very bad, but nothing particularly special either. Given the restaurant’s prime location and potential, I expected a higher standard. However, the biggest issue I noticed was cleanliness, which definitely needs improvement. This could be a significant concern, especially for those with food sensitivities or stomach problems, making the place less suitable for them.

Overall, the restaurant has great potential due to its strategic location and breathtaking view, but it needs significant improvements in food quality, hygiene, and attention to detail. The worst service ever. I literally walked in with 3 friends and chose to speak Arabic and place my order. Even though I speak English still chose not too. Literally a server or manager in some Jeans asked us if we want the menue? how are we suppose to order then (genius)🤔. And he had the nerves to be on the phone while I am trying to ask a question then walked away. Resturant wasn't even busy. NOTE. I've mentioned this language/service issue due the fact me watching this other server standing near our table trying to see if we need anything nicely, while standing, another one called on him. This place should have been a touristic destination..

UNFORTUNATELY IT IS A TOURISTIC DISASTER.. An old place like that should be taken care of, keeping in mind it's value and it's location. The place is not clean, this is to say it in a nice way.. Table clothes were stained, and the flies didn't stop buzzing around us. That really bothered me a lot. The waiter brought me a dirty fork.. it had a dry grain of rice..
