We missed the plane out! Arrived in the middle of the night! And our room had been given to someone else! ( we only paid for room at end of stay)| So a bad start! to say the least!| The lovely, attentive, frontdesk, breakfast room staff changed this from the first breakfast on their huge terrace over looking the Pyramids!. You have to pinch yourself.| Rooms very clean. Powerful shower,great aircon,big very comfortable bed. Best value for money we have ever had.| Walking distance (100 metre) from Calflour( supermarket), 3-4 Coffee shops( one made me a small birthday cake and sang Happy Birthday in Arabic) fresh juice shops, clothes, banks ect.| The young staff ( 12!-26) who were working daily,really made our stay SPECIAL!!.| As you can see by the pictures ,how much trouble they all went to decorating my bedroom ,while we were out visiting Pyramids ( 8 mins by car| We looked at nearer Hotels, but, very glad we stayed in this area, the nearer you stay the more you are PESTERED! by sales people,beggers,guides ect.| BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE OF THE VERY SPECIAL STAFF|HOPE TO...

Read moreThis was a great hotel and great value for money. The people working on the desk were very attentive and helpful, and the room was clean and well organised with air conditioning. There is also a shared patio with views of the pyramids where they serve breakfast (typical Egyptian style platter). It's about a 25min walk from the entry gate for the pyramids - a great way to avoid the taxi scams.
I was charged slightly more than the Booking listing when I left. This might have been taxes and whatnot, but worth keeping in mind as this wasn't clear when booking. The cafe/shop downstairs (same name, so probably same owner) also overcharged me for water/ice cream (a price I wouldn't even pay at home, but I was silly and didn't do the conversion before paying) so I'd suggest going elsewhere in the neighbourhood...
