Very pleased with the Caviar Restaurant! It's in easy walking distance of Mena House, which was why we came by. I had the calamari, my husband had the kofta. The calamari is excellent and not chewy at all, so it's definitely fresh. (It's sold by kilo but I think they'll do a half.) Try it with the limes squeezed on top. The kofta was wonderfully seasoned and moist. The staff is very friendly as well, and the prices are really good!
If you come for dinner, it may be empty but don't leave! Their main draw is their lunch buffet, which brings in a crowd. I plan to come back for that.

Read moreThis Restaurant seemed like a nice Place since it really is very close to the Pyramids. But thats about it. Not very clean dining area. Food seemed like reheated buffet. There was Hair literally fried into my Meat. Im lost for words. On top of that the waiter actually charged us almost twice the bill in euro since we didnt have egyptian pounds with us at the time. Dont recommend. There has to be at least a few nicer spots around this area....
