Mr. Hostel Luxor — Hotel in Luxor City

We had an excellent experience during our stay in the hostel. Omar and Mohammed helped us to book tours with great guides to visit the Valley of the kings, a felucca boat ride, and a nil cruise ship from Aswan to Luxor. Before we reached Luxor, they already helped us by Whatsapp to organize tours and answer our questions. Everything worked perfectly. Their hospitality (they provided us free tee, water, guava juice, fruit salad) was amazing! The very small hostel has a nice atmossphere similar of being in a shared flat, living together with two friends. So, don't be surprised if you don't see any reception. Their business is just starting to grow, so payments (rooms and tours) must be in cash at the moment (Egypt pounds, US dollars, ...).

The dorm rooms have wide comfortable beds with curtains and power supply. There are two bathrooms with showers. The showers are in the middle of the bathroom, so it will flood the floor during showering, so that it will take some time to tidy it up. This feels uncommon, but bathrooms in Egypt are just like that (we had the same in every hostel in Egypt). Air con in the dorms helped us to survive thr 40 degrees celsius.

The common area is a semi-balcony with comfortable pillows. After we arrived by sleeping train (which shaked so much that we couldn't sleep a lot), Omar welcomed us 6 am in the morning and let us sleep in the common area before we could check in.

They were incredibly reliable, always available to answer questions and offer great advice, making my stay seamless.

The beds were super comfortable, ensuring I got a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring. The property itself was spotless, with everything meticulously maintained and cleaned regularly, giving me peace of mind throughout my stay.
