Steigenberger Resort ACHTI — Hotel in Luxor

Mostafa was super-helpful and made sure we had a great stay. He has an ability to understand different types of travellers and is culturally informed to know how to take care of his guests. The hotel feels serene and is nicely tucked a little further away from the hustle and bustle of the city and cornice yet close enough to walk to the centre within 20-30 mins. We enjoyed the breakfast too, and the hotel is really clean though slightly dated. Great base to explore Luxor and all the incredible history as well as relax by the pool with a beautiful view...

The hotel in itself is good with respect to the facilities but the overall experience got greatly influenced because of the rude behaviour of the bellboy and security staff at the entrance because they do not allow customers to take taxis from outside. They only allow the taxis parked outside the hotel with inflated prices because of the commission they receive! Despicable behaviour and not at all expected from such a good hotel brand. I will not recommend this hotel until they don’t address/fix...
