King Dude II Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Luxor City

I don't often to reviews, but this place is worthy of a review! Im lucky enough to work in Luxor and came across this place through Google. For me I was looking for a place to grab a beer with good food, after a week working on the Nile cruise and this place ticked all the boxed. The staff are very pleasant and always up for a chat, the restaurant is super clean and nice cold beer, the food I had which was pasta was very nice. If anyone is looking for a great place for something to eat this is the best best place to come to. It's located within a hotel at the back of the reception area, with great art decor. This place is great for a cheap beer, I didn't eat here and as I went during the day I was the only person in, so very quiet and no music etc. The bar guy was lovely and if there was more people in, it would have been a great little spot, you can get takeaway beers too, so if you want the exact same beer as they have in your hotel for a fraction of the cost, you can stock up here. It's not obvious where the bar is when you enter if there's nobody to show you, you walk upto the back and it's in the far left corner

Such a gem! Large selection of local alcohol and cocktails which were very reasonably priced. We ordered a few drinks and kept receiving complimentary snack top up’s from the bar. Staff were attentive and super hospitable. The fit out inside was phenomenal as well — don’t be fooled by the sad looking entrance / hotel lobby that you have to pass through...
