Nile queen restaurant & coffee — Restaurant in Luxor City

We just had the worst experience. The restaurant dont have a menu, so its pretty much the waiter telling you everything they have and you have to ask the price of everything, we had 2 meals (that were totally not worth it, really simple food for the price that pretty much feels like it changes depending on your face) and out of distraction we didnt ask the price of the juice and tea that we had (it was 2 juices n 1 tea cup) and they SUPER overcharged us on that! Despite of that they also charge you extra if you wanna pay it by credit card! Wonderful views of the Nile so you could do worse, but be realistic about what you’re going to get; this is a tourist trap where you can pay inflated prices for a mediocre buffet and rub shoulders with coach loads of other tourists. I was suspicious when I walked into this restaurant. There is no written menu, just verbal quoting of beef or chicken meals for a fixed US dollar pricing of $10 per meal. Being in Egypt and being scammed numerous times, I was ready to walk out. But the owner assured me it was not a scam.
