From the moment I arrived, I sensed that the management of this place had clearly changed for the worse. When I saw my room, I was extremely disappointed and refused to stay at any cost.||||I had booked my round-trip bus through them and spent five days asking when my departure was, only to get no answer. My entire plan for the day and the end of my trip was completely disrupted because I was not informed until the very last minute. After five days of constant questioning and reaching out, I received a call at 10 PM—not from Alaska, not from the travel agency—but directly from the bus driver, informing me that my departure was first thing in the morning. Outraged by such unprofessional behavior and refusing such short notice, I was denied a refund. There was zero coordination between their night and morning shifts, as well as between their travel company, despite their claim that everything was handled since the payments were already made.||||Upper management repeatedly refused to speak to me directly throughout my entire stay in Dahab. And had stopped responding to my messages. When I decided to visit them in person to escalate the issue. With unbelievable rudeness, the front desk handed me her personal phone sarcastically telling me to speak to her manager who is going to refuse my request anyway. ||||The so-called manager asked me to “drop it” and they would only pay back the money to “stop nagging!” When I made it clear that this has nothing to do with money and that this is not going to end in their favor, the front desk girl snatched her phone from my hand and told me to leave their premises immediately or they would call the police. ||I told them to go ahead—I’d be waiting.||||An hour later, I received a call from a man claiming to be the police, asking where I was and if we could “have a chat.” When I welcomed the opportunity and gave a specific location, he agreed to come over but never showed up or called back. Clearly, it was just another intimidation tactic.||||That being said, I’m in the process of officially filing a complaint against these people with the Ministry of Tourism to prevent others from being deceived by this place. A true shame and a disgrace to Egyptian tourism and...

Read moreThe only benefit of booking here is the location which is in the center, however, the showers were broken, the toilet doesn’t flush, insects in the room, the staff are horrible and an extremely rude attitude and unprofessional comments, they accuse us of shouting at the staff, paid extra for damages that weren’t even there. The entire experience was ruined with the below average manners. They blame us for damages and say they didn’t see the people before us do that, there was a lack of basic knowledge of how to interact with guests and how to greet them properly. There pictures of the room is a scam and is a false reality they are trying to create of what they have, the bare minimum couldn’t be met with anything they were doing and the rooms provided. I wouldn’t recommend this as a first or last or any experience because it won’t only make you regret coming to dahab but it’ll make you regret coming to Egypt. Overall a 1 star is too much considering the service, the staffs attitude and mannerisms, the state of the room which was barely staying intact, the cleanliness and hygiene of the place wouldn’t be fit for a street animal. Ps breakfast wasn’t...
