Alcapone — Restaurant in South Sinai

-It was a really awful experience, the manager was shouting at the stuff and making fun of them in a really bad way, he was nervous and screaming for the 2 hrs we spent there!!

-The food is okay but it's really expensive compared to the quantity

-The tax was extremely high

-The manager knows nothing about customer service, we got sand in our juice and when we complained he came and was making fun of what we said and claimed that there is no way there is sand in the juice and when we insisted he was angry and changed the order by shouting at the stuff to change it and said "no more strawberry juice is served for Egyptians"!!

It was a really frustrating experience, if you ever passed by the place from outside you will see the stuff literally running from and to the kitchen once the bell rings to avoid the shouting and screaming...

We ate in ALL by the sea famous restaurant from Dahab and Alcapone had the best food. The lemon red sea filled was to die for and the octopus I had no words. It melted in your mouth, no chewy. The only problem was that the restaurant was empty. Only another extra table besides us for 4 servers. Our server was sitting down on his phone with his back to us and my brother nearly had gangrene on his arm, it took a lonnnnng time for our server notice that we wanted to order more things. No excuses for not giving us service. The owner should really provide the tips charged on your restaurant's bill to the server. This is a proof that the gratuity money do NOT goes to server/staff otherwise he would be very alert on serving us and trying to "sell" us more food $. Too sad they don't provide breakfasts or we would come here 3...

What a terrible experience that completely ruined my evening. I have no idea how this place has such a good rating. The food was average.. Not exactly the kind to write home about. My partner wanted to order fillet of fish and they said they don't have it but wanted to sell him a whole fish by kgs. We were also told that we can pay by card which in the end wasn't the case and we needed to get a money from an ATM which charges fee for withdrawals. We also had tax added to the bill.. So the prices were not final in the menu but at no point we were told that. It isthe worst experience i had of dining out in Egypt and Dahab in particular.
