Ok, this is a hard hotel to rate, & here's why... The first 2 days were full of issues. My 1st room wasn't ready, so I got moved to another room. This room was terrible! It was in the older part of the hotel as the room needed an actual key to open the door. Firstly the toilet wouldn't flush, when that was fixed the toilet leaked & flooded the floor. That was fixed but then when you flushed the toilet it leaked again. Also the bed sheet had what looked like a blood stain on it & the mini fridge didn't work. The following day I was moved to another room, this time in the main building. On first inspection it looked ok, but the mini fridge didn't work and the patio doors were not fitted well which resulted in quite a bit of noise from outside. I complained about the fridge and it was replaced, although the fridge had electrical tape holding the wires together! In addition to all the issues, there is no free access to the beach. It didn't mention that in the hotel details on Expedia!. If I had known this, I wouldn't have booked the hotel. But, after all this, once everything was fixed, I actually had an ok stay. The hotel itself looks ok. The pool area is nice, as is the reception area and main building. The view of the bay is partially blocked by the back of the Marina Sharm Hotel, so I really wouldn't say it's a great view of the bay, but it's quite good. In general the hotel is ok, but the appliances, fixtures & fittings are poorly maintained.

I chose the hotel based on its location. I made the right choice. I can praise only the location and the man at the reception. Everything else leaves much to be desired. The hotel is not worthy of 3 stars. And here's why. I initially paid for a room with a large bed and a sea view. I was offered a terrible room with two beds and a garden view. But come on, I paid for another room! Okay, I was offered a room with a large bed and a sea view. But the room was dirty. I washed the floor and hung the "do not disturb" sign on the door. But the cleaner apparently doesn't know the rules. He came into my room in his shoes and started making my bed. He thought I would offer him money, since I gave him money when I checked in. I don't need to make the bed, and I washed the floor so I could walk barefoot. After the incident, the cleaner stopped responding to my greetings. There was no hot water because the boiler was broken. The faucet in the toilet was broken. The toilet cistern was broken. the ceiling in the bathroom is smeared with black. I repeat once again that only the location and the man at the reception deserve gratitude. the hotel is not worth 3 stars. what is broken needs to be fixed. I want the hotel manager to see my review

I didn’t feel comfortable at this hotel at all. First of all, the guy at the reception was a scammer. They told me it’s better to exchange money with an Egyptian, so I exchanged $30 with him. The next day, he came back to me saying he had made a mistake in the calculation — that he had given me money $50 instead of $30 — and asked me to give him $20 more! He clearly thought people are stupid and was just trying to scam me. It was obvious he was trying his luck.

Second, I stayed for 4 days and no one cleaned the room, not even once. No one even asked if I needed anything. & We had booked a couple’s room, but they gave us a double room with two single beds. When we asked for a proper double bed, they said there wasn’t any available and just pushed the two single beds together.

Third, after 6 PM, swimming is not allowed. I used to go out for activities during the day, and by the time I came back in the afternoon, I couldn’t swim because it wasn’t allowed.

Fourth, we sat on the balcony at night and guess what? We got eaten alive by bugs — it was full of them. We had to rush back inside the room and couldn’t even enjoy sitting outside on the balcony.

And there was no Wi-Fi in the room, and even in the lobby it barely worked.

In short: no cleanliness, no good service, and on top of that, a scam. The only good thing about this hotel is its location and...
