Hard Rock Cafe Sharm el Sheikh — Restaurant in South Sinai

We have eaten at the Hard Rock for years, however our latest visit was not good. We ended up walking out. We arrived later than usual around 7:30. Entering Hard Rock, it was very loud with a local singer blasting out some hits from decades ago. I asked for water for everyone, which would have been 5. I asked the waiter to turn down the music since we couldn't have a conversation. The only way to communicate was by getting very close and shouting. The waiter did get the music lowered a little, but it soon went right back up, maybe even louder. Mean while the other waiter returned with water for 2. I counted out 5 people needing water, and he quickly disappeared. We placed our order and shouted back and forth to communicate. After a few minutes of shouting, we decided to leave. This kind of dining atmosphere is not good. I signaled the waiter and shouted at him to please get my check. He sent a new manager over who put his face right next to me and shouted what is the problem? I laughed and shouted at him that the dining atmosphere was terrible, that we didn't want to eat with so much noise. He shouted the guy would take a break in 15 minutes and left. I signaled the waiter to get the check, and he came to the table and shouted no charges. Hard Rock should do something about the entertainment, control his volume, move him to the bar, or just stop it. Most people come to Hard Rock expecting videos and music, not this. Wow, delicious! Visited May 10, 2023 during lunch time, 1-2pm, and it wasn’t crowded, which was great. Great service, delicious food, and wonderful atmosphere! I definitely recommend this restaurant in Sharm El Sheik…. a must visit for American dining. My husband and I shared the Classic Nachos (EGP 350) w/ Grilled Chicken (EGP 150). Delicious! They were probably better than in the USA, lol. The size was great for 2, but could have shared with 4 people total. My husband got The Messi Burger (EGP 290); he rated it 8 out of 10. I got the BBQ Pulled Lamb Sandwich (EGP 380); I rate it 10 out of 10. I never had BBQ pulled lamb before, just pulled pork, and I was pleasantly surprised. Highly recommend this sandwich. Favorite part was the server, SAM, brought out the Appetizer first and let us enjoy the nachos completely then brought the sandwiches. Fantastic! Total bill was 1,220 L.E. for 1 appetizer, 2 sandwiches, and 1 large bottle water, with 12% Service Charge & 14% VAT. Overall, HIGHLY RECOMMEND HARD ROCK CAFE SHARM EL SHEIKH!!!!
