Pomodoro — Restaurant in South Sinai

First, it would probably have taken way longer to get the menu card if I would not have raised my hand. This is sad since there were three waiters and only people on two or three tables. The food was nice. I had garlic bread and it was definitely ok, even though I prefer it to be not that crispy as mine was. The garlic taste however was nice, I liked it. The pizza on the other hand, yeah, for me it was very boring. I had a Pizza House Special (I do not remember the name correctly, however it must have been similar to this) and there were only slices of tomato and no tomato puree. So it felt like eating a lot of Pizza Dough. Might be that I just did not order the pizza which suits my taste best. When I have finished eating, the waiter cleared away the table including the empty glass I had for the Cola Zero. There would probably not have been an easier situation to sell at least one more Cola by asking me, whether he can bring me another one. I would have taken another one for sure! It gave me the feeling like they do not care to serve one more customer. This is sad. What made me upset the most was when I put the money inside the briefcase where the check was and they did not bring me the drawback. This is just unacceptable and cheeky. I have not yet had this behavior in another restaurant in Egypt. When I went inside and asked about the drawback, they knew how much it was without looking at the check again. Such a cheekiness! Will I ever go to this restaurant again? Yes. Why? The staff or the waiter who served me might just not had the best day and the food was not this bad, maybe other menus might suit my taste...

Had a few people with me and we ordered a variety of appetizers such as tomato soup, humus with bread, and the vitelli tonatta we're all delicious. As for the main courses the steak was described as 'melt in your mouth good'. The dry spaghetti, chunky salmon with pink sauce fish ravioli, assorted BBQ seafood were proportionate to the prices and tasted delicious. Plus the service and quality of the restaurant is better than most around that area. Unfortunately I'm on a sugar diet this month and couldn't try out the delicious ice cream desserts that the table next to us seemed to...

Had the maragrerta This Italian restaurant is an absolute gem with exceptional customer service and a cozy, authentic ambiance. The staff were warm, attentive, and made the dining experience truly enjoyable. The food was phenomenal—starting with perfectly crispy calamari, followed by a divine Pizza Margherita, rich chicken pasta in white sauce, and a lasagna that was out of this world.
