Buddha-Bar Sharm El-Sheikh — Restaurant in South Sinai

I've been to sharm for about 30 years. I popped into Buddha yesterday and had a chat with one of the staff, no problem he explained there was a good night ti be had on Saturday the 24/25 September. I had 12 friends who wanted a good night out, ( happy to spend) I went to the club at about 01:30 to check all was OK and to see if the club was active. I approached the door staff, I found them extremely "passive aggressive,"

No welcome, no smiles, no kerb appeal , in fact the opposite, I waited a few minutes to see If any attitudes changed, they didn't , this was ALL the front door staff. They were Passive aggressive to everyone, even people that had pre paid booked or had the correct bracelets.

We went back to our hotel and continued our night.

I will visit tomorrow to speak with management.

My friends were looking forward to a good long night of fun ,TOTALLY ruined by the passive aggressive attitude of the door staff.

Sorry Buddha you need to address your door staff attitudes.

I will not recommended the club to my guests unless things change...

Me and my best friend are having tradition to check every Buddha Bar when we can. This is the second time we celebrated her birthday in Buddha Bar but this time in Sharm El Sheikh. And they didn’t disappoint! I want to start with the decoration of letters and balloons that they were prepared on our arrival. Our server was so kind so nice. Was recommending us the best cocktails and food. When I went to him to order a dessert surprise for my friend and wanted to pay separately he told me that the dessert is from the restaurant and they will not accept payment. Honestly such a good service… one of the best I ever experienced from all the Buddha Bar restaurants that I’ve visited so far. Also the food was exceptional and really fresh and delicious. Me and my friend celebrate in a such great atmosphere. All the staff were really kind and welcoming. They all came with chocolate soufflé and singing which was so thoughtful. I highly recommend this place while visiting Sharm El Sheikh! A big thank you to our server! We were there 24/01/2025

Read before going! We have been to Buddha bars in Dubia and Marakesh! This one had the best service especially from Omar and food was great I would say just behind Dubia brunch. But we was told come Monday they have entertainment there was none! 8.30pm Two other tables so it lacked any atmosphere. More staff then customers they said they have DJ and disco after 11.30pm but Buddha bars are famous for evening entertainment. Overall for this reason I’ve removed two stars they need to really do something to attract customers with entertainment etc or it’s gonna end up closing! Can’t fault the service but when there is no atmosphere! I can’t recommend this place unfortunately so that needs addressing urgently. Generally from what I have found in sharm is people do not dine in these type fine restaurants as their resorts are mainly all inclusive and so big etc. Also they add on 12.5% service charge which I am not sure where it ends up going so be aware!
