We booked the studio at this place for eight nights in July when the city had very limited availability.|The main reason we visited Cannes was the sea. And the sea was there. Nice, warm and welcoming.|All communication with the owner of the accommodation was via e-message. He sent us the entry door code, left the key for the apartment inside . It was very practical for us because we arrived very late and the place does not have reception.|The studio has a simple setup but all necessary stuff was there: plates, kitchenware, fridge. It has doubled bunk beds, so four people can sleep there.|Air conditioning is available.|In general it passed our expectations except the floor which had sand on.|Probably the cleaner did not use the vacuum cleaner.|We had the room on the top floor with the inner yard view but who cares if the most of the time we were outside and came here to sleep only.|The owner was easy to contact and honored all our requests. Thanks!🤝|Location is great, next to the street market. Groceries, supermarket are very close to the apartment. And of course the beach - pleasant 4 minutes walk from this place.|The nearest parking garage cost €7,00 per 24 hours which is cheap because the others cost of €30,00.|In general we were satisfied . Read moreA friend booked this for us for a three night stay during a tour of the south of France. Pictures look nice but in reality this is honestly one of the worst places to stay. Wish he looked at these reviews before we booked because many people have highlighted how this is the "worst place" ever - totally true! The room we had was on the third floor (31) and was the size of a shoe box, honestly couldn't swing a cat. The bedding wasn't clean either. The worst part about this though is the fact that the room looks directly over the train tracks and the window is cut off at the top by a highway that bridges over it. The window shook each time a train went by and was very loud. We asked to be moved to a different room but it was fully booked so asked for a full refund. The owner said yes but there was a 30% fee taken for cancelling and he was not sympathetic at all. Said to him that if he went on holiday I hope he stays in a similar place. Complained to booking.com and they said he wasn't willing to refund the cancellation fee but after they saw the pictures they approved a refund from their side and are reviewing their platform to allow people who leave a property to write a review. They are also looking into shady owners. We booked a nice hotel in the end, so it makes sense to spend a bit more to have peace of mind. Seriously avoid this property...
Read moreForget about the cheap rates. Stay away. This place is the worst in a city that has a lot of bad places to stay. ||||The building is adjacent to the train tracks/ Cannes station. When I say adjacent, i mean so close the building shakes when the train passes by & you can hear the platform announcements. The sounds are muffled if you keep the one window/balcony door closed. ||||The bath is tiny, and basicly functional. However, you have to figure put how to avoid being scalded by the uncontrollable temperature control is the mini-shower cabin. ||||The room has a loft bed, reachable by a narrow 8 foot narrow ladder. I was terrified that i would fall during the middle of the night, so i slept on the foldable bed on the floor. In doing so, there eas virtually no pace to put a suitcase. ||||The tv never worked. ||||AVOID...
