As a regular visitor to Cannes & have had the pleasure of staying at the Best Western Mondial on many occasions. From the warm welcome at reception to the friendly goodbye on check-out and everything in between, I only have praise for the hotel. ||Perfectly located just off Rue d'Antibes and a few minutes walk from car park & railway station, its only a short walk to Croisette beach.||The rooms are a good size, well air conditioned and quiet. The beds are comfortable and towels are soft. Some rooms have balconies which is a nice touch. The mini bar is well stocked & there are complimentary bottles of water & some Nespresso capsules for a morning coffee. Breakfast is plentiful and very good quality.||I have nothing but praise for the hotel and their wonderful staff. It's always a pleasure to stay there. The only downside is that I sometimes can't get booked in owing to the popularity of the place during the peak season & when conventions and shows are on.||Top notch guys....
Read moreWe had a really lovely 5-day visit to BW Mondial hotel. This was booked for both business and holiday purposes. |The location of the hotel is ideal. Close to the beach, on the main shopping street and walking distance everywhere incl the trainstation. All the staff were really friendly and we had a superb service and they were always Happy to help us with any requests we had. We were given an upgrade and had a lovely seaview from our small balcony. The room was quiet allthough it was facing the Rue dâAntibes. We stayed on the 4th floor. The hotel is quite small and so was the breakfast room and therefore very much to our liking. The room was a good size, with large bathroom with a tub. The balcony was sunny from early morning until sunset. Perfect for a coffee or just watching the street life from above. Absolutely nothing negative to say. Just a really nice place to stay. Would definately choose this...
Read moreC'est dégueulasse! The room was fine, although light fixtures next to beds and the bathroom mirror illumination were broken. The telephone did not work at all either, this is only relevant because upon check-out time (11am) an undisclosed hotel employee ENTERED my room and yelled to check out IMMEDIATELY - which was completely unnecessary and a terrible impression on leaving the premises. No employee should EVER enter a guest room and it was a total violation of privacy and security. Additionally, the staff had previously confirmed a late check out (12pm), and this unwarranted and unnecessary action should be recognized by the management as well as the brand. An otherwise decent experience that was ruined by one action by one employee who the front desk would not disclose. I hope this NEVER occurs to future guests and that the property understands how frustrating and terrible this...
