Loved our stay here in Paris.
Some of the many pros of this hotel.
Staff are extremely friendly and available 24/7. You can drop your room key off at the front desk any time you go out and they will keep it for you.
Located on a very cute street with markets, cheese shops, boulangeries right around the corner. We recommend boulangerie Raphaelle around the corner.
Rooms are cleaned thoroughly each day and beds are made.
centrally located right by the arc de triomphe metro station. Nothing was more than an hour away by transit (including versailles where you can hop on the train to La Défense station and then transfer to the L line to Versailles)
Option for breakfast. We did not take it so can’t comment.
Netflix in the rooms.
If booking, you should be aware that the rooms are small. You likely won’t be able to fully unpack and put your stuff away in an organized way if you have two people. Also there are 6 floors and no elevator. Finally, since the rooms are pretty close together, doors opening to other peoples’ rooms can be loud.
These were non-issues for us as the price was so good (compared to airbnbs and all other hotels). We found very few hotels in the same central location for as good as a price. All in all, on the same budget, I would choose this hotel 10 times out of 10. Happy we...
Read moreI had a really bad experience on the morning of my checkout. One staff member, who, I later learned, is an owner of the place, was rude to me at the checkout and ruined my impression of the stay at the hotel.
On the last morning at the hotel, I woke up to a call from the reception with the request to check out. It was ten minutes past the check-out time, and I totally understand the request to pack and leave faster. I said that I was sorry and asked for 20 extra minutes to pack and shower, but the lady on the phone repeated several times to me that I had to leave "now" or "no later than in 10 minutes". I ended up finishing packing in the hall downstairs and had to leave the hotel with soaking wet hair on the 5th of January risking getting sick outside.
The whole morning conversation and the fact that I had to walk around winter Paris with wet hair was absolutely unacceptable. I then realized why this hotel has lower reviews than what I had thought it deserved when I just moved it – horrible customer service, and not from the staff, but from the...
Read moreVery important information, this hotel is not located anywhere.
I booked a room through booking, I wanted to meet my friend in Paris (she lives there), drink tea and discuss work issues.
As a result, the guy at the reception forbade her to enter, since for each guest she had to pay another 50 euros.
As a result, we agree that for 30 euros she will be able to walk no more than 4 hours and then leave.
This ruined the holiday, just like before, no matter where I stayed, there was never a problem with a guest coming over for tea during the day.
I also want to clarify that my friend lives in Paris herself, came to visit in celebration and without her things, and did not plan to spend the night.
But the guy at the reception said that you have to pay for guests, even if they come at 1-4 o'clock, it's paid.
Therefore, I do not recommend booking this hotel if you want a guest to...
