Dear sir or madame, Me and my friend stayed at this horrible hotel when we visited Paris over the weekend. To start with, in the check in we only received one key. Furthermore, the hotel room did not look like the pictures at all, much smaller and it smelled old. This was not big problems, the bigger problem came up when our friend from Hong Kong that had a intermediate landing in Paris and was suppose to leave later in the afternoon with the train to London. They were rude when she came to the hotel and asked for the room we stayed in. After she had been in our room to freshen up and change cloths (probably 30 minutes) they told us that her luggage could not be in our room, when we wanted to go out and explore the city. We therefor we quickly run upstairs to bring the luggage down. During the day we found out that it was train strakes from Paris to London, therefor she followed us back to our hotel room to figure out what to do. After 10 minutes in the room, the telephone rang. An angry man shouted at us that we could not be three in the room and that she needed to leave immediately. We got very stressed because she had not found any flight or train tickets back to London, we have never experienced that it was not okay to bring a friend to the hotel room during the day, for a short period of time. So me and my friend that had the connection flight went down to the reception to try to explain that we did not think that the behaviour was okey. Its not okey to treat a hotel guest the way he did, he was extremely rude and we told him the situation that we did not plan to go back to the hotel in the afternoon but her train got cancelled and need to find a new solution. He did not listen, only screamed to us that he would take our card details and charge us for one more hotel room if we did not leave within a few minutes. She had the thought of booking a hotel room there, but after this horrendous customer service she did not want to stay another minute. Therefore we quickly went up to our hotel room to inform our friend about the situation and book an other hotel. The phone rang before we even got the change to tell our friend the entire story, and he hold us that he would call the police if she did not come down to the entrance directly. She rushed down, grabbed her bag from the luggage storage and we took a taxi to her new hotel were the service was completely different. We were chocked over the situation and did not though that a hotel would dare to treat the customers the way he did. When we went back from our late dinner (without our friend) our room key didn't work. We therefore thought that it has became demagnetised but when we went down in the reception they had prepared a new room key for us without telling that they had, with purpose, closed us out from our own hotel room. Their meaning with this was to check that we only was two people and I have never felt so watched in a hotel in my whole life. We understand if there is a policy that you cant have any friends visiting over day time (with the luggage downstair) BUT the way he treated us was extremely bad. We have never in our life been so awfully treated and we will never go back to this hotel, and we strongly recommend that you don’t do it either. There are so many good hotels in Paris with the same location and price but with...

Read moreThe location of the hotel was perfect , very close to the metro and the city center, with lots of restaurants nearby. The hotel only provides breakfast and does not offer lunch or dinner, but this wasn’t a problem for us.
We stayed for 3 nights. There is a small outdoor area, and although our room was small, it was functional and clean. The bathroom was amazing. However, there was no view from the room. We were on the 7th floor, and the air conditioning worked properly.
The room could use a bit of tidying up in terms of decor or maintenance. There is only one small lift, which is very slow and can be inconvenient, especially during busy times.
We were surprised by a few extra charges , a city tax of €5.50 per person per night, imposed by the French government, and a €100 deposit requested at check-in. Neither was mentioned beforehand, which was unexpected.
On the positive side, housekeeping cleaned the room every...
