WORST EXPERIENCE EVER – SHOCKINGLY RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, AND HUMILIATING
I genuinely don’t even know where to begin because this was hands-down one of the most disgraceful experiences I’ve ever had at any restaurant — and I’ve traveled enough to say that with confidence.
I came into this place expecting a simple, calm coffee break. Instead, I was treated like an unwanted burden from the moment I walked in. First, I ordered an Americano. What they brought to the table was a half-empty cup — literally. Just a sad, steaming puddle at the bottom. I politely asked, “Is this a mistake?” thinking they might have just forgotten to fill it. Their solution? THEY TOOK MY CUP AWAY AND ADDED COLD WATER TO IT. Yes, cold water. No apology. No fresh cup. Just watered-down disappointment.
But it gets worse.
I had a water bottle with me — something I carry everywhere. No sign on the door, no warning from staff. Nobody said a word as I entered. Suddenly, mid-visit, a waiter walked over without saying anything, grabbed my personal bottle, and placed it on the floor beside me like I was some misbehaving child bringing in contraband. I was shocked. Embarrassed. Treated like I’d broken some law they never bothered to mention.
So naturally, I asked to speak to the manager, expecting some kind of basic courtesy. Instead, I got someone who walked over with the fakest smile I’ve ever seen, acting like he was starring in a bad drama: “So sorry for the inconvenience,” he mumbled while clearly not caring at all. His tone was dripping with sarcasm and attitude, and his smirk made it very clear he thought I was the problem.
In that moment, I decided to return the same level of “respect” they showed me — so I gently placed their precious coffee cup on the floor, just like they did with my bottle. And guess what? That’s when the real hostility came out. The manager’s mask dropped, and he instantly turned rude, raised his voice, and got angry at me for doing exactly what they did first.
The hypocrisy. The arrogance. The complete lack of professionalism.
This restaurant doesn’t just have bad service — it has a toxic culture where the customer is always wrong, where staff are condescending, and where managers fake politeness until they’re questioned. I left that place feeling humiliated, disrespected, and disgusted.
They owe me an apology, but honestly, they owe every future customer...

From the moment you step into Restaurant Ambassadori in Batumi, you are welcomed into an atmosphere of elegance and warmth. The ambiance is simply perfect—chic yet cozy, offering a sense of comfort and luxury at the same time.
The food is beyond exceptional. The pizza is enormous, freshly baked with high-quality ingredients, and full of flavor. The lasagna is simply divine—rich, creamy, and perfectly layered, making it one of the best I’ve ever had. The beverages are all natural and incredibly refreshing, complementing the meals beautifully.
What truly sets this place apart is the outstanding service. The staff is attentive, kind, and genuinely passionate about ensuring guests have an unforgettable dining experience. Every detail, no matter how small, is taken care of with precision and thoughtfulness. One detail that particularly stood out to me was the restrooms—each sink is accompanied by special hand towels, rather than the usual paper towels or dryers, which adds a refined and luxurious touch.
Restaurant Ambassadori makes you feel valued and special from start to finish. Whether you are looking for a casual dinner, a romantic evening, or a gathering with friends, this place delivers in every aspect. Highly...
Read moreI visited this place after seeing a lot of positive reviews and TikToks claiming they serve some of the best Italian food in the city. The restaurant looked nice and the menu seemed promising, so my friend and I decided to give it a try.
We ordered a truffle pizza, chicken parmigiana, and a cola, and specifically asked the waiter to bring everything together. However, they brought only the pizza and cola. We reminded them that we wanted everything served at the same time, and were told the rest was coming. We waited... and waited. After multiple follow-ups and more than 15 minutes, the chicken still hadn’t arrived.
Eventually, we spoke to someone who appeared to be the manager. He apologized and admitted there was a mistake. We appreciated the effort, but by that time, the experience was already off.
As for the food: Truffle Pizza: 6/10 – okay, but not memorable. Chicken Parmigiana: 5.5/10 – disappointing. Crème Brûlée: 4/10 – not up to standard.
The service recovery came too late. I wasn’t expecting anything for free, but a kind gesture would’ve gone a long way. The staff tried, but overall, I wouldn’t return. It was an experience, but not...
