Great place with a lot of untapped potential!
Relatively small place with only few indoor tables but large street seating. Very simple, modern and quite cozy interior decorated with wood and concrete. I appreciated that electricity plugs were available to customers at every table. Service was great, polite and apologetic about having only a German menu, offering us the food explanation at any time if needed. I also liked the fact we were asked how we enjoy the food and experience at the end of our stay - not a common question in German restaurants! During mid Sunday afternoon when we visited, the place was not busy. So far it has been a very pleasant experience, but sadly that's where it ends.
The food - burgers and fries - were unfortunately underwhelming and disappointing (not sure we picked the wrong food to eat or if the cook had a bad day). The fries looked great at first glance but they were very soggy (to the point I was able to make a pretzel out of a fry!) and not seasoned properly. We were later explained that potatoes came from a local producer (I personally appreciate local food and thinking about the environment) that obviously didn't have the best season. I would say if you don't have good enough products to offer to your customers, you should probably stop offering it or change the supplier.
The burgers were tasteless, not seasoned at all (no pepper or salt) and quite blunt. My burger (named grasshopper) didn't have any sauce therefore it was a bit dry and even fresh herbs and salad didn't salvage my bad experience. Honestly I could only taste the fresh mint in the burger, nothing else. Falafel, as a side dish, was overdone and extremely crunchy. Dips were okay, but it felt like the herbs in them were not fresh.
It's a great concept and I am all supportive of this type of cuisine, but there is a lot of space for improvement (at least for the burgers), so at the moment this restaurant does not deserve such a high review. Visited in July 2022 and paid with a card.

Read moreVery bad experience. I went there with my wife and 2 kids. Food was average, and the service was terrible. We order salad and a burger, and we get it after an hour. I understand that the restaurant was kind of busy, but some other client who came 20 minutes after us and order burgers he get it 10 minutes before us. I ask they waitress why they are doing that and she was arguing me that she is not cooking and for that i have to speak with the cook. After that they asks us 3 times to give us free drinks for that and after we refuse 2 times, the 3rd time we ask for a coffee and water and a coke. The waiter came back with a coffee and said the manager didn’t approve the other drink, because we asked too much. The toilets were not working. I definitely not...
Read morePhotos with food look so nice, right? I thought the same, but after eating here my stomach feels really bad. The taste? Just a regular burger, nothing special, and unsalted fries.
We ordered: Naturschönheit (no taste at all – the veggies tasted like shop-bought ones in winter), Smashed Burger (a bit better, but still not even at McDonald’s level), regular fries and fries with avocado (or guacamole?) and tomatoes (no tomato taste at all).
Honestly, I was disappointed that we didn’t just go to McDonald’s – it would have been much better than this place.
But the worst part came the next day – my husband and I both had stomach problems. And we didn’t eat anything else after this place 🤡 So I totally do NOT recommend it. Honestly, it’s better to just stay...
