It was a wonderful experience. I ate the Miso ramen, Nr 11 I think, and it tasted superb. The broth was a little strong, I must say, but otherwise it was a genuinely good eating experience. The pricing is pretty fair, although the drinks cost a bit much for my taste. I would recommend the cold green tea as it doesn't cost a lot but certainly quenches your thirst. I'll visit them more during this summer and I hope I can make some more experiences there. Btw. They actually do play Anime music from time to time but generally Japanese music, so it's definitely something for the weebs...
Read moreAs someone who traveled to Tokyo and had great ramen, I mean truly mindblowing and authentic ramen, I can definitely testify that what I had today at Ichiban should not be called neither ramen, nor authentic japanese cuisine. The ingredients did not blend in together, it felt like a mush of stuff dumped together in a bowl of really salty pasta water. I really can't emphasise how bad this was.
The staff is however impeccable, and the atmosphere is very cosy and the chairs are some of the most comfortable in a restaurant in Germany.
Would come back for having drinks...
