Six of us from Ireland visited Cologne and stayed at this charming, wonderful place. The building is a surprising mix of apartments. All the rooms had different layouts. My friend and her son and I shared two separate rooms, connected by a spiral staircase. It's windows were gorgeous gothic style with one level having a small balcony. We shared a fully equipped generous sized kitchen. The other two couple's rooms had different style rooms but we're equally full of character as well. The building manager was very friendly and had no problem giving us extra pillows when requested. Umbrellas were available when it rained. They even had two crates of free non alcoholic beer on one of the landings for guests to avail of, free of charge ! When one of our party locked themselves out if their apartment at 11.00pm the building management came and solved the problem promptly and cheerfully! We stayed in these apartments in Jan 2020 and couldn't fault them. The room was spacious and slept 3 people easily. The kitchen was equipped with a toaster, kettle, coffee maker and fridge. The bathroom was immaculate and shower gel and shampoo was provided too. ||Our room was on the 4th floor so be careful if struggle with stairs as there isn't a lift and the double bed was also up a set of ladders on a balcony above the kitchen. We stayed over the weekend. The apartment was clean, it had a kettle, ground coffee, a french press, kitchen essentials.

The bathroom was good and clean.

The bed, even though it was in the mezzanine/loft, the bed was fine. The pillows are not comfortable and it can get a bit warm. We tried sleeping until late the second day but we got woken up by the noise from upstairs guests and people coming down the stairs.
