Pros: Great view Nice setting (Our) Waiter was friendly, classy and provided incredible service Decent food
Cons: Lack of organization Prices are quite high The terrace is reserved for the bar only, so no dining is possible
While creating the reservation, I was asked if it is for an event. I was pleasantly surprised to be able to note it was for an anniversary dinner with my wife.
When we arrived, we were greeted by a staff member, and while he went to check for our reservation, we were greeted by what I assume was a management figure in the restaurant. She told us that we can have a cocktail while our table is ready. When another waiter arrived, I made sure to ask him to notify us when our table is ready. 45 minutes later, we were asked for a cocktail refill. When I asked the same waiter about our table, he was surprised that we had a dining reservation as well. Essentially, all 3 staff members that approached us had forgotten / disregarded our reservation.
When we got seated an hour after our reservation, we got served by a very professional waiter. He recommended the wine and brought a sample.
When we ordered the starters, we got served fresh bread with Spanish Olive Oil which tasted awesome. We both ordered the Shrimp & Fish Ceviche. It was quite citrusy and spicy which was not up to our taste. Both our main dishes tasted great. The Creme Brulee was a bit watery, but otherwise quite tasty with a nice caramel glass cover.
We left the restaurant and no mention was made about our anniversary, showing that essentially our reservation was completely disregarded.
TL/DR:
We had an overall nice diner, the view was awesome, the food was good although not up for the price and we enjoyed ourselves.
The organization needs to be improved, also the prices don't really match the quality of the food, even though it's apparent the chef is good. We were expecting a bit more from a 200+...
Read moreWhile exploring Frankfurt late at night, I stumbled upon this hidden gem of a restaurant—and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, the service was exceptional. The staff was attentive, polite, and made me feel welcome despite the late hour.
I decided to try their lobster, and it completely exceeded my expectations. It was incredibly fresh, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. Alongside that, I ordered a steak, which was equally impressive—tender, juicy, and grilled just the way I like it. The balance of flavors between the two dishes was remarkable, and it’s clear the kitchen puts a lot of care into their preparation.
What really elevated the whole experience was the stunning view of the Frankfurt skyline. Whether you’re seated inside by the windows or on the terrace, you get a beautiful panoramic view of the city, especially enchanting at night when the lights are twinkling across the horizon.
The atmosphere is cozy yet elegant, making it a perfect spot for a romantic dinner, a celebratory night out, or just a relaxing meal with a beautiful backdrop. It’s a fairly popular place, though, so I would definitely recommend making a reservation in advance—especially during peak hours or weekends—to ensure you get a good seat.
Overall, this place delivered on all fronts: food, service, ambiance, and view. It’s definitely a must-visit if you’re in Frankfurt and want a memorable...
Read moreThe restaurant is in a nice location, very well decorated and has a beautiful view of Frankfurt. The food was, unfortunately, below average. Our starter was good, but the main dishes (steak and lobster) had no special taste and lacked all types of seasoning (including salt). The dessert was, sadly, also very bland. The cocktail and the wine were good, but the whole culinary experience was much below the level you would expect for this restaurants/these prices. The service was also not very good. There was a lot of down time between the courses and the staff never asked if we wanted anything else to drink or came around to check if everything is okay. PThis seemed to be the case of the tables around us as well. We would probably only go back to sit at the bar since the view really is (the only thing) worth...
