Indian Flavours Restaurant — Restaurant in Frankfurt

We chose this place because of high ratings on Google Maps, but at the end I left slightly disappointed and I think this place is overrated.

Food: I got for a dinner Chicken Biryani and Chai. Price of the chichen was 18.9, (a bit higher than in other places) and I would expected either quality or quantity for that price. Rice was very tasty with some indian spices, but chicken was definitely warmed up and not cooked fresh. Also the quantity doesn't match the price, you could see the amount of salad on the attached picture. As for Chai, I tried much tastier ones in the non-indian places, and had rather high expectations, but this one was literally tea with milk and some spices.

Service: the waiter was generally nice, but often disappearing, so we needed to wait for some time when he shows up to order and to pay. Also I got impression that he doesn't care that much about what's going on, but this is my personal feeling.

Atmosphere was chill with some old indian music in the background and this is what I liked the most about the place. Actually, it's quite cosy inside.

At the end: mediocre food in general and nothing special that would make me return to this...

We have been looking for some place in the neighbourhood, where we could enjoy Indian cuisine and music. We were happy to find out that Indian flavours are now in Bockeinheim. We go there regularly. In summer they have a small outdoors place; it is very cozy. Food is great: fresh and delicious. Personell is very humble. They can see it if you need anything and give you some space when you just want to enjoy your food. It would be cool if you could find nice cups for tea as well and offer nice sorts of tea. Amazing customer service and even better food! Absolutely loved this place! We got the bhindi gosht which had finer licking flavors. We also got the chicken karahi which did not have that traditional Pakistani flavor, however, as a chicken dish, it tasted pretty good. The Naan bread was so fresh. And how can I not mention their Spicy achaar (pickle). It took the food to another level! The host made sure that we were well attended.
