Grand Dining Experience!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Grand Hotel Downtown restaurant, and it was an exquisite experience from start to finish. Here’s why I highly recommend this establishment:
Ambiance: The restaurant boasts an elegant and sophisticated ambiance. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by tasteful decor, soft lighting, and comfortable seating.
Service: The staff at Grand Hotel Downtown are attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. They go above and beyond to ensure that guests feel welcomed and well taken care of.
Culinary Delights: The menu is a culinary journey through flavors and textures. Whether you’re a fan of international cuisine or prefer local specialties, there’s something for everyone. I particularly enjoyed the perfectly seared scallops and the decadent chocolate lava cake.
Wine Selection: The wine list is extensive, featuring both local and international labels. The sommelier is well-versed and can recommend the perfect pairing for your meal.
Views: If you’re lucky enough to snag a window seat, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the city skyline. It’s the ideal spot for a romantic dinner or a celebration.
In summary, the Grand Hotel Downtown restaurant is a gem in the heart of the city. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply want to indulge in fine dining, this place won’t disappoint. Five stars all the way!

Read moreIf I could give ZERO stars I would! We arrived and immediately noticed the nefarious characters hanging out around the outside of the hotel. We checked in and went to the room that smelled like ammonia; we left to go get the bags and a few minutes after we got back to the room I hear a key go into our door and our door opens. A very surprised man turned and ran away. When we stopped by the front desk the man says oh yeah I authorized that and we proceed to try to tell him we are not ok with someone having a key to our room since you cannot lock the door from the inside. He again says no no it’s ok I authorized it. We left to go to dinner and could not enjoy ourselves as we kept worrying that when we got back our things would have been stolen. As we walked back to the hotel the neon signs started coming up, advertising hookers, sex, and casinos. Then we came across several women so high they couldn’t move, one man frantically ripping a suitcase apart as his female friend held the hypodermic needle and another man lighting up his crack pipe. This was within two blocks of the hotel. We got up to the hotel and the entire side had addicts sitting on the sidewalk shooting up or lighting up. Do NOT STAY HERE! I didn’t sleep the entire night bc I was afraid someone was going to come back...
Read moreUpon arrival to the location of the Grand Hotel we thought we had stumbled into the backstreets of Sin City, drunk, homeless, drug addicts, thugs, hookers and a terrible stench of depravity. It was actually a touch scary until police vans rumbled by, then we found the entrance, it was like stepping into a small sanctuary, the reception was tired and unwelcoming but Checked us in with not too much effort. We were on the third floor and had a business class room, noisy as it was it had great facilities, sky TV and a pretty comfy bed as well as a modern bathroom, quite spacious. Neither the coffee machine or dispenser mini bar worked. And the shower head was broken so you had to hold it all the time.. The views however were actually very impressive and it's also when we realised we had found a hotel in the red light district, then it all made sense. We got a good night sleep and checked out before 12. I believe there was a swimming pool, but we did not venture that far, I quite enjoyed the experience but it was not a 4 or 5 star by any stretch of the imagination and mine was running wild..... Finally while the room seemed clean I'm pretty sure there could have been something lurking but I'll leave that for you to entertain. Good stop for a night's recouperation and then back on...
