Hotel Liebig — Hotel in Frankfurt

I am travelling a lot and I’ve learned to be wary of small hotels, so I wasn’t sure I would be happy there. But what a gem of a hotel! When there you feel like you’re in what a hotel should be. Every thing is so well thought, so beautiful (which never happens in Germany - the owners are Italian), so comfortable. It’s very calm, very clean, there’s even a fully stacked mini bar! And the cherry on top is the breakfast: it has everything you could need BUT everything is actually good, unlike in most hotels. The croissant was out of this world (and I’m French), the cheese as well (and again, I’m French). The only detail worth noting is that there’s no elevator, which may be a problem for...

I travelled there for business in July 2016. The hotel is not modern, but it does have a very nice decor from another time. The room size was big with a two single beds right next to each other. One thing that was particular good, was the reasonable priced mini bar which was received well. The room was also clean, fresh and very quiet. The couple who run the hotel are lovely and friendly. The breakfast is really good and does worth it. The surrounding area is very quiet and quite close to the city center. Plenty of good restaurants...

Ich habe Ihr Haus ausgesucht, da ich ein Meeting hatte direkt bei Ihnen ums Eck. Normalerweise übernachte ich einem der Trendhotels eher im Stadtzentrum. Ich verbringe rund ein Drittel meiner Zeit in Hotels, wollte daher was Neues probieren. ||Von aussen ein tolles Haus. Auch der Empfang war sehr freundlich (ebenso Checkout). ||Allerdings muss ich sagen: Ich war echt müde und musste meinen Koffer in den dritten Stock schleppen, da es keinen Lift gibt. Hilfe wurde nicht mal angeboten.||Das Zimmer war dann der Hammer - aber im negativen Sinne. Ich hatte ein Einzelzimmer gebucht. Dabei habe ich gelernt, dass es offenbar noch Hotels gibt mit einer 90er Matratze. OK, was anderes wäre nicht rein gegangen, das Zimmer war nicht viel grösser als die Matratze. Da hat mein Hund bei mir zuhause das grössere Zimmer. Abgesehen davon hat die Fernsteuerung des TVs nicht funktioniert. Die Klimaanlage war an - aber egal, welchen Knopf ich gedrückt habe, eine Veränderung konnte nicht feststellen. Also ist das laute Monster die ganze Nacht gelaufen mit Vollgas auf 17 Grad. Habe ich eben das Fenster aufgemacht um einen Ausgleich hinzukriegen und den TV laufen gelassen, damit ich nicht nur ein Brummen hörte. Ökologischer Unsinn. ||Ein Highlight gab es aber am anderen Tag: Das Frühstück. Klein, aber fein, sehr hoher Qualitätsgrad, super freundliches Personal. Echte klasse gewesen, deshalb gibt es 2 statt einem Stern. ||Und noch was: Im 25h kriege ich ein XL Zimmer inkl. F für weniger Geld. Preis/Leistung stimmt leider so gar nicht bei Euch. ||Fazit: Bleibt ein...
