Read moreSuch a wonderful place! Nana Convivial is a relatively new Italian restaurant in Frankfurt’s Westend. I was on a business trip to Frankfurt and two friends of mine recommended Nana, so we went there. Nana has a nice outdoor dining area on a quiet street, and we had a great evening there. As an appetizer, I had the Mezzamanica ai tre pomodori e basilico. It was delicious. My main course was the grilled fish of the day. It was great as well. The desert, Millefeuille di tiramisu, was somewhat unusual, but nevertheless very good. We picked a nice bottle of white wine from Sicily, Gales Zibibbo. If you like Moscato, you will love that wine. Since my first visit was such a wonderful experience, we decided to go there again a few weeks later. Because it was too cold to sit outside, we went indoors. The dining room is as chic and trendy as it is cozy. This time, I had tuna sashimi, which was not on the menu. The main course was grilled lamb, it was savory and very tender, absolutely amazing. So was the desert, Zabaione flambe. All in all, it was, hands down, one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time! The food is fantastic, the service impeccable and the ambiance is very charming. William and Chef Salvo are doing a wonderful job. I can’t wait to go back! Of course, I highly recommend...
