Hotel Rossija — Hotel in Frankfurt

I love places like the Hotel Rossija, that offer no frills, clean, basic accommodation at an affordable price to travellers.||||I have stayed here three times now, twice with friends and once with my elderly mother. The rooms and bathrooms are spotless. Yes, there is a certain 'Russian' flavour to the staff and customer service, but you get used to that and it has its own attraction.||||Yes, the area it is in is not leafy embassy quarter style, but in all the times I have stayed there, I have never felt unsafe, or been approached by anyone unsavoury. Still, if you want gambling, good kebabs or sex bars, it's the place to be. I live in a city myself and have been on many streets such as Moselstrasse. I survived and intending vistors will too.||||Beautifully crisp rolls (and plenty of them) on offer with the continental breakfast each day. Also on offer, cereals, toast, juice, coffee, tea, jams, butter, hams, salamis, cheese, tomatoes, eggs, cucumber - only the churlish would complain.||||No swimming pool, no restaurant, no English speaking channels on TV and no free wifi, but do you know what? You'll survive...

Awful! I couldn’t sleep at all because insects were crawling on me. I changed bed 3 times, at the end I tried to sleep on the desk fully clothed and with shoes to escape them but I still got a rash.

There are Bed Bugs. Stains the towels and I even had some weird metal mesh on one of them. Stains and burned holes on the bed sheets and pillows. Really scary neighbourhood. The whole carpet is stained and dirty. Burned places and weird green substances on furniture. Wi-Fi not working. Power sockets not working. Dead insects on the wardrobe. Curtain not even standing straight, looked like taken from the trash. Flirty staff, I put a chair in front of my room to be sure no one comes inside. Stains and holes in the bathtub. Mould on the walls. Holes and labels on the walls?? They made a copy of my identification card, I am not sure if that is still practiced widely.

This place should be checked from the authorities for violation of hygiene requirements! No matter the price it can not be possible to offer rooms in which people get rashes and...

After this experience, I encourage Google Map to make a rating with minus because one stare is too much .

I had my booking confirmation, which stated that I paid, and it is confirmed! I was at the reception the guy there said we do not have your name , I showed my booking confirmation and every evidence that I have paid and it is confirmed then the guy said do you have booking Number ( of course I have , what a question!!!!)

Then he was the one offering me to check that with him on the screen . He was checking in his website, and then I did ask him to check it Agoda webpage. Guess what! He opened the Agoda website , and just showed something irrelevant, no dates were there , no booking (Nothing ! ) When I point that out , he mentioned that please go back to your place . You are not allowed to see my screen , he mentioned that even Donald Trump is not allowed to see my screen. What ????????? Donald Trump ?????? What are you talking about ??? What a way to deal with customers??????

I do not wish anyone to pass through this...
