Hotel Villa Oriental & Restaurant — Hotel in Frankfurt

We stayed here booked 3rd to 5th January 2023 and it was the worst hotel i have ever set foot in in my life. I am not one to give bad reviews at all but on this occasion i do not want anyone to experience what the 4 of us did. To start with we booked way in advance and told the hotel twice before in writing we would arrive on the 4th January from our flight at 10am and to take the money from the card in booking com . on the 2nd January the hotel messaged via booking com asking for the card details to take payment or if it was in booking com that was ok. I confirmed booking com had a card stored for them to take the money. When we landed on the 4th January i switch my phone on to find the hotel put us as a no show...even though they knew full well what we were doing. We speak to booking com..they tell us to go to the hotel which we did. We check in. Then the fun and games begin...they want paying...but they have marked the booking as a no show..which has paid them because of their settings. We after an hour on the phone agree to pay at reception and the hotel remove the no show to avoid paying twice . The owner speaks to us on the phone and tells us if we dont want to stay he doesn't care less. To cut a long story short we were charged twice for our booking, on the 12th January booking com phoned the hotel to do as they said and release the no show...they flatly refused. Finally after reviewing all the evidence booking com refund our money..no thanks to this disgusting place. CUSTOMER SERVICE ZERO And then lets talk the squalor of the hotel It is filthy I have photos of the toilet thats got excrement in, hairs in the shower, dirty black floors, sweet wrappers on the floor from other people, flooding shower, dirty cups, dirty everything. I can not tell you how physically sick i felt to have to sleep here one night. We had 2 rooms booked and both were the same and room 1045 heating was broken and our friends had to sleep in their clothes and coats and 1046 is a tiny dive of a room that's not been cleaned for years. Do not stay here, this place should really be visited by the tourist board and do an inspection because its just not fit for anyone as it stands. The area is not good and we did not feel particularly safe with people on the streets drinking,hanging around in street doors and anyone can wander in the hotel through to where the outside courtyard is being able to access the hotel In 53 years old, never ever have i been subject to such disgusting cleanliness and lack of customer service. I have a very bad taste in my mouth of this place, ruined our stay in Frankfurt and we could not wait to leave .we checked out early and went to the airport 2 hours before we even needed to to get a drink and run as far away as possible from here. This is the truth and nothing but the truth. We are well travelled. Just had a month in Sri Lanka. We are easy going but this place just can not be forgiven. The owner needs to really take a serious look at what is going on in his rooms, sort the cleanliness out and sort out this bad attitude towards customers Fair play the guy on reception was a decent guy. I have seen other reviews regarding marking no show and taking money twice, this must be the normal.get away with double charging once and think you can keep...

Attention: Read TWICE! I booked a Standard Double Room. I checked in at 2, the 2 towels on the bed were wet, one of them contained 2 pieces of hair, and the other one was torn as it had been used for years. I took a quick shower as I had to my schedule to catch up with my partner. 5 hours later, I came back with my partner and this time I had more time to analyse the room. Here are the details: Blood was on the door and in the bathroom next to the sink, that was disgusting since no one at that moment could tell if it was safe to stay nearby. I went to the receptionist to report that, he came, checked and said he will get back to me in a few minutes. We waited for around 15 minutes, I went to search for him, he came back and said he refused to change the room since “No one was going to clean”. The floor: I attached the photos below, as you can see the hairs and dirt were still visible when we turned on the light, it was like the room was uncleaned by the routine or the person who was in charge was in such a rush that didn’t spend enough time to clean the room.

I booked another hotel nearby and checked out immediately. I travel a lot, and this hotel is by far the worst. This hotel and its service should be removed by Hotels.com and related...

I don't understand some comments that say their rooms were really bad. I arrived at this hotel and first thing was that the reception staff was very helpful. The person at the desk helped us to fill out everything while giving us the cars. Our room was looking good, but it has its style. I can agree with some comments that the bed is quite squeaky, but it was only one side of the double bed. I can add that I really disliked that there are no carpets on the floor in the rooms, but it feels like you'd be walking into the toilet at all times. There card reader seems to be a bit weird because it takes me a bit of time to open my room each time. There is a battery powered safe in the room, which doesn't work. Other than that, room was very warm, and this is the most important thing to me when coming here. Some people said that their rooms were very cold. This one was very warm that I had to open my window for the night. Toilet-wise, it is perfect. Hotel is very close to a bus (100m) going to the main Frankfurt Airport, and Frankfurt-Hahn Airport.
