This is one of the two most popular street food stands in Athens. The other one is in Mavili's Square. They call it "greasy food" but it's far from greasy. They use gloves and a paper wrap with the stand's logo "Katina Michalakopoulou". That's the good side of things. On the downside, 4 Euros are too much for a sandwich with just chicken nuggets, fries and sauce in a medium sized bread. I know similar stores which are selling sandwiches at the same prices and they are 1.5x times bigger, and with more ingredients as well. Also, it's noticeable that the counter is placed too high. Unless you are a tall person, it's not convenient at all. It had too many people indeed, but there were three people working there, so the service was pretty quick.
I wish I could give 4 stars, but the price compared with the quantity is too much for such a store. You are not a high class restaurant. I believe 2.50 Euros it's a more...

I don't speak Greek at all and the server was very friendly and helpful to me. I ordered and had my food in under 5 minutes and it cost less than 6 euros. Also to go along with what another review said. I didn't feel like garbage after eating it and I didn't feel gross the next morning. There's not a ton of oil on this so you don't feel 'gross' in your stomach.
It's not mind blowing. It's just a really good, at-expectations food truck.
Would definitely...
Read moreSome one said that it was the best canteen in Athens but all they have tiny pink Weiner's and chicken nuggets. If you are looking for an authentic "dirty man" this place won't be it. You will do tens times better getting a few buns and a tin of weenie Weiners from the OK mini market opposite. They had nothing you wouldn't find in the worst northern school canteen. The only frills were ketchup or mayonnaise no mustard, onions or usual extras for hot dogs and no special sauces for nuggets. Probably the worst was the chips that seemed like they were made...
