A great little hotel. The room was small but very clean and bright. Once you get used to the control panels that control everything in the room (which the staff show you) that's fine. My one complaint is that both the shower and bathroom sink tap came off, but could be reattached and still worked. Just needs a simple fix. As other reviewers have commented, the noise from the street can get pretty loud, but that's what you get when you're situated in the centre. It wasn't as bad as some have suggested for me, as the street itself is like a little side street.
All the staff were great- Anastasia who welcomed me was super friendly in particular, as were the male members of staff I saw. Taxi booking was easy and done for me several times.
They're open about the fact they don't have a 'proper' bartender at the mo, so basic drinks only, no cocktails- didn't bother me, but apparently they're working on this, and the selection of alcohol was fine.
Breakfast was good- continental, with some hot meats and pastries.
Some of the negative reviews have surprised me a bit but each to their own. I'd recommend this place and would definitely visit again if you want somewhere central in...

Read moreIt is difficult for me to rate this hotel as it was not as described on the booking site that I used. I would stay here again if in Athens. It is in a great location. Close to tourist attractions and transport connections. It is a small hotel and located on a pedestrianised side street. Don't be fooled into thinking it will be quiet. There are many bars and restaurants close by and the sound does travel. It wasn't an issue for me as I expect noise when staying in a city centre hotel but I have seen reviews stating that it is quiet. It definitely isn't quiet. Because the hotel is so small the sound from other guests also tends to travel. My room was small but comfortable. It had a coffee machine and a kettle but sadly lacking in any sort selection of drinks without having to ask for them. The breakfast buffet was sufficient and the food was tasty. I wouldn't drink the coffee if you actually like coffee. The breakfast room was tiny and uncomfortable. All the staff were friendly and helpful. As I said I would stay here again. It was a...
