Nonas House - by Vacedo — Hotel in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

Cute building right in the middle of the old city with walking distance to literally everything. The apartment itself is small and and not the size of a normal studio or as presented in the photos and description.The bathroom was tiny and you can barely move around There was a horrendous,unbearable smell as soon as i entered the apt. The management justified it as a consequence of using strong cleaning products and the apt just needed to be aired.In the coming days a smell of mold was present but that is common almost everywhere in Corfu. What was worse was that the cleaning which was under all criticism.I found super dirty kitchen appliances,utensils,cups etc. The curtain too was filthy but the management reacted really fast and came changed it within hours. Be aware that you hear everything quite intensively,from the street,the apt above or in the building's hallway when people enter & exit.During the night it was better and i was using earplugs as a complement. The only positive thing from my experience was solely the location which cannot be more central,the open-air porch and that the management was responsive to my remarks. Undvik detta boende, bottenvåningen verkar ha ett ständigt problem med kackerlackor om man läser recensioner på booking. Jag blev erbjuden återbetalning för resterande nätter men blev tvungen att betala fullpris för att leva i ohyra 1 natt. Påpekat att det finns gångar och lukt i lägenheten där de kan röra sig inom men hyresvärden skyller på att det är normalt i gamla corfu staden och anser att den lösningen de gav mig är rimligt. Jag tror knappast en städning kommer att hjälpa när det behövs mer än så. Lycka till i framtiden. /...
