Casa 1926 & Grande Casa 1926 — Hotel in Municipality of Chania

We had a 4 night stay at the Casa 1926. 5 people. Place is great and has everything you need. There were 3/4 towels per person, hairdryer, washing machine with ampules. Every bed was really well made. AC in every room! Great balcony on the busy street side. It is very sunny in the morning but evenings are great.

The owners welcomed us with home made fig jam, which was more than tasty.

Beds are comfortable. There is enough space for 5 people to have their clothes in the closet.

Downside is parking. Nearby parking is only max of 4 hours, and we had to park in the garage which after 7 days was expensive around 110e overall. (In the garage they have to take the keys of the car, dont be surprised)

Casa Grande 1926 has free parking in that nearby 5minute walk garage.

There is free parking by the port which we were told later on the last day.

I've hardly tried during our 5-day stay to find some negative points... the hosts? No way, they are so kind, always at your disposal, arranging on check-in/out, and will very nice attentions (fig jam rocks 😁) the location? Surely not, ideally placed at the entrance of the old town and a closed/private parking is available for free the flat? Here again it's a no...perfectly clean, well insulated, big enough, fully equipped with kitchen, washing machine...

Even after 5 days, time for us to leave and still no negative point to mention, so it's with big pleasure that I rate with 5 stars and keep this adresse for a future coming! Definitely recommend Casa 1926, you can come...

We stayed here this summer and it was amazing! Apartment is really beautiful! Homemade marmalade was waiting for us when we arrived and also when we left they gave us a present. Our plane landed at 4am and they let us come in the middle of the night even though check in time was 15h. Host was there for everything we needed. I highly...
