Se anammena karvouna — Restaurant in Municipality of Chania

Maaan! Alright, honestly, the souvlaki is good. BUT. And there's a big but. And not one of the ones MC Hammer likes. We went there twice and each time the seasoned gentleman at the counter looked at me like Vecna looks at Max in Stranger Things season 4. (If you haven't seen it you should watch it, it's really good.) My dude, food is important but the other half of the coin is service, and smiling to tourists and not just locals makes a difference. (Plus Vecna is full of scars and stuff and it's not hygienic for a restaurant you know..)...

My recent visit to "Se anammena Karvouna" was nothing short of a nightmare. The owner, with visible snot in his nose, shamelessly served customers without taking any hygiene precautions. To make matters worse, he sneezed openly and continued handling the food without washing his hands. The overall lack of cleanliness extended to the dining area, with sticky and dirty tables. I strongly advise against dining at this establishment, as their disregard for basic hygiene is both appalling and hazardous to...

Really good food and it's open late. I always find myself coming back to this place whenever I'm on Crete. The staff is friendly and the service is always extremely quick. The prices are great.
