Glaros Home in the garden — Hotel in Municipality of Chania

siamo stati ospiti a Glaros Home per una settimana ad agosto. L'appartamento è spazioso, luminoso e pulito, con due grandi camere matrimoniali, un letto in uno spazio apparato e divano letto in salotto. C'è un grande terrazzo da cui si vede il mare e altri terrazzini, uno per stanza. L'appartamento è climatizzato con un sistema che evita sprechi di corrente ma rinfresca efficacemente. É in un'ottima posizione a 5 min a piedi dalla spiaggia e dalla via principale del paese in cui trovano tutti i servizi (minimarket, panficio, supermercato..) e comprende ombrelloni e racchette per la spiaggia. L'appartamento ci è stato consegnato molto pulito e con l'omaggio di un vassoio ricco di frutta, formaggi e cibo locale che ci è bastato come pranzo! Elias, il proprietario, e sua moglie sono stati gentilissimi e molto disponibili e ci hanno spesso regalato i fichi del loro giardino o le uova raccolte per noi, e ci hanno fornito mappe e suggerimenti per visitare Chania. Abbiamo passato una vacanza indimenticabile grazie anche a loro. Consigliatissimo!

We were guests at Glaros Home for a week in August. The apartment is spacious, bright and clean, with two large double bedrooms, a bed in an apparatus space and a sofa bed in the living room. There is a large terrace from which you can see the sea and other terraces, one per room. The apartment is air-conditioned with a system that avoids wasting electricity but refreshes effectively. It is in a great location 5 minutes walk from the beach and from the main street of the town where they find all the services (mini-market, shop, supermarket ..) and includes beach umbrellas and rackets. The apartment was delivered to us very clean and with the homage of a tray full of fruit, cheese and local food that was enough for us as lunch! Elias, the owner, and his wife were very kind and very helpful and they often gave us the figs from their garden or the eggs collected for us, and provided us with maps and suggestions for visiting Chania. Amazing place. Great location and neighbourhood. Close to everything, to the beach, to restaurants, to public transportation, etc. Independent, very quiet, huge, clean beautiful apartment . It occupies all the second floor of a two story house surrounded by a large magnificent garden full of fruit trees and beautiful flowers. It has several balcony all around the apartment and the views are breathtaking. The apartment is equipped with everything one needs. Wonderful local hosts Mania and Iiias, they are warm and attentive and will teach you a lot about Greece, including cooking local gourmet dishes! A fantastic...

Nice basement apartment, plenty of room for a family of four, with small yard with outdoor seating. Owners live in the apartment above and are very friendly and helpful, although do not speak English. Sometimes noisy at night. No foreign TV channels. No welcome provisions provided (milk, bread, fruit, toilet paper). Great location for the beach - about 7 minutes walk. This beach gets choppy sometimes though; the two further to east are calmer, and the one furthest east the cleanest and most beautiful. All are reachable via leisurely walk or bus.
