ATTENTION!!! IMPORTANT!!!ANSWER FOR HOTEL OWNERS!!! The husband of the hotel manager Eleni Stathaki runs this hotel. He stole my wife's engagement ring from the safe.I blame him because there was no other person or worker in the time we were there.There were no other guests either only we. Apart from that, he is very curious and always looks after you from his office when you leave the hotel. A camera is installed at the entrance to the hotel, where the owner can see everything directly on his mobile phone. (why you can not see the camera anywhere in the pictures here? And why you save recordings and not delete them? You pretend to be a family hotel, why are there no pictures of you or your family on your homepage?) The recordings are also saved by him. how long are the guests not told. Very questionable under data protection law. I know because I saw it at the police station. The perfect tool to steal, because you always know when someone is entering the hotel. At the police station he betrayed himself as a perpetrator in my eyes when he said that the safe only has one key. He also didn't mention to the police that there was a company that opened it. He only answered that here. He showed the police officers a 6:00 am recording of me on his mobile phone as I went out to smoke a cigarette. even though we were already in the hotel at 1am. A real control freak. ANSWER: Everyone knows that a safe must have an emergency key. Do you know a safe manufacturer who sells a safe with just one key??? If so, please tell me the manufacturer where you bought your safe??? All who read this, I'm sure the hotel owner will talk himself out of it!!!! As you can see in the pictures it is a normal key. No special key! Please answer me how to contact the company to open the safe, if you do not have a 24 hour reception? There is no company address or telephone number on the safe or at the reception. (You can see at foto) There is also no emergency number from you or your wife. How do you contact the alleged company if, for example, you have to check out at 4 a.m. and your Passport and documents are in the safe and nobody is at the reception? There is nothing of such a company in your terms and conditions.Such a company is also not listed on your homepage??? If you have nothing to hide, make the company public. (Also here I am sure that the hotel owner will talk his way out of it. An official company can be named publicly, without problems!!!!!! ) Professional is something else for me! Due to Covid-19 (Corona), you have not made any sales for more than 4 months. An expensive engagement ring with a big diamond can make up for some losses by selling it. I hope your ambitions were just the money and not some mentally ill ulterior motive. Because only the ring was stolen. You yourself say always someone have to sleep in a hotel, it doesn't sound like a harmonious marriage. One more motive to steal the ring is jealousy. We don't need to just blame someone like that. The fact is, only the ring was stolen from my wife's wallet where she put the ring in inside the safe. We also noticed it immediately after opening the safe. While choosing your holiday destination, you need to define what you need and what you expect. For us it is always: location and view from the room window. IOLKOS has exactely, what we were looking for: 2 (namely; two) minutes from the sandy beach and sea right outside the window. Gentle breeze round the clock bringing the smell of flowers and sea. At night you can hear waves rocking to sleep. (You do not like it? Shut the windows and turn the air con on). And the neighborhood -quiet side street with no through traffic.||No, IOLKOS has not got a swimming pool and no bar on premisses. If you need these, go elswhere. But every appt is equipped with kitchen space, so you can prepare your own meal and have it on the balcony or terrace of your own (yes, there is one for every room).||Everyone likes to stroll the streets of Chania. 5 minutes walk will bring you to the bus stop, from which a '21' line city bus will whisk you in ~25 minutes to the center of town (going every 20 minutes).||All the bars, restaurants and mini market within walking distance.||Antonis -the host- is there almost all the time and always ready for a friendly chat and helpful, with a smile at ready.||I have a problem, with writing it all. We stayed at Iolkos apartments for two weeks in August 2024. The hotel is within a stone throw from the beach, convenient to walk there in the morning or get home for a siesta during the hottest hours. And if you're really lucky, like us, you can have a room with a view at the sea. The studios were well-equipped and the cleaning service - excellent. We didn't miss anything in terms of toiletries or supplies and the sheets and towels were changed regularly. Our host, Antonis, welcomed us and made sure to not miss anything. He went above and beyond to make us feel at home. He saved us one time when we accidentally had locked ourselves out of the studio, outside the opening hours of the reception desk. In a discreet, yet tangible and efficient manner he took care of issues that had arisen during our stay. He also provided us with valuable insights on places of interest. On our last day not only did he make sure to have access to showers after our farewell swim, but also arranged for a comfortable transfer to the airport.
