Guesthouse Corali (Korali) — Hotel in Municipality of Hydra

When we booked our trip to hydra, all the desired hotels were unfortunately full. We chose the guesthouse Coralli and were pleasantly surprised. Very clean and well maintained. Nice to get water and a small bottle of wine as a welcoming gesture. Unfortunately, this hotel has paper-thin walls that mean you can hear the neighboring guests talking, unlocking the door, talking in the hall etc. We even got a complaint because we were talking in the room (not late - 10.30 PM) which we have never experienced before and really felt was inappropriate. |Pros:|- Clean and well maintained rooms|- water and wine as welcoming gifts|- nice balcony in the front overlooking the town and hillside|Cons:|- noise from the street from early morning (the rooms in the back are quieter)|- small and extremely hard bed|- paper-thin walls|- noisy AC|- Church bell rings very hour...

The rooms are legit just for a nap and a shower. So with that on mind, it is just perfect. You get enough sunlight in the morning and a nice balcony to drink your coffee. The location is the best because you are close to everything there. There is an all day cocktail and brunch bar just across that is playing good music at very non irritating volume. A great place to stay for our brief one night visit to Hydra island. The room has everything you need for a short stay, and the bed was really comfortable. The location is just up from the port and our room had a tiny balcony to sit and enjoy a drink watching the hustle and bustle below.
