DIMELAL MYKONOS TOWN APARTMENTS — Hotel in Municipality of Mykonos

We stayed at Dimelal Apartments for one night and it was exactly what we needed. The location is fantastic – right in the heart of Mykonos. That does mean it can be quite loud at night, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for a quiet escape, but for us it was perfect since we came for the party scene and the music didn’t bother us.||We were greeted by the lovely Angela, who showed us to our room and made us feel welcome. The room itself was very basic but clean, which was all we needed for a short stay. What really stood out was the owner, Izabela – she went above and beyond to make our trip special, from arranging our transport from the port to inviting us to her club in town. She was so friendly and helpful, and we’re really grateful.||If you’re in Mykonos for the nightlife and want somewhere central, cheap, and cheerful, this is a great option. It's a great place if you want to enjoy parties, don't care about standards and loud noise. If you are elderly, got children, women solo traveller or someone who has saved money to treat yourself to a memorable holiday then do not book. You will be very disappointed. Hygiene is poor. Towels were dirty, old and the place is was full of dirt. Mattresses were old too. Main thing is it's next to a open air disco. So, imagine having your bed in a disco room. Music is loud, vibrating till early hours. Then they deconstruct the stage and start all over again in morning so noise continues . Front door has no keys, small wall separates the disco and property. Really surprised why this is tolerable. Was there this past weekend and the island is super quiet and super cold. Obviously the island being more occupied during the summer season there was not much open. Also since people usually visit during the warm seasons and not cold season the home being built in cement obviously made it more cold, unbearably cold. But no complaints to the place. The apartment was clean. There were other beds so used the sheets all for myself to keep myself warm. The host was quick to respond to inquiries. I would definitely stay here again for my future trips to Mykonos. Ignore the bad reviews here, Mykonos is a party island and to complain about noise is childish. So have fun and...
